Autogenic Training
In this second session of the Relaxation on Demand audio course, you will learn about autogenic training, a relaxation technique that uses the power of suggestion to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, also known as the "rest and digest" system. Practice this session for a few weeks, until you feel able to relax easily.
Lição 3
Progressive Muscle Relaxation
In this third session of the Relaxation on Demand audio course, you will learn about progressive muscle relaxation (PMR), a relaxation technique that involves tensing and then relaxing different muscle groups in your body. PMR is a simple and effective way to relieve stress and tension, and it can be practiced anywhere and at any time. It is also the basis of the Relax on Demand training. You can practice this right after the Autogenic Training if relaxing is difficult.
Lição 4
Relax On Demand Practice
In this fourth and final session of the Relaxation on Demand audio course, you will learn how to relax on demand using the techniques you have learned in the previous sessions. This practice is the bridge between the PMR and simply being able to count down from 10-1 and completely relax your whole body. Practice this in multiple settings to get the best results! And remember, you can always go back to previous steps as a refresher.
