Welcome to the Third Eye Chakra Healing Meditation.
Begin by finding a comfortable position,
Lying down or seated,
With your back straight.
If you're seated,
Your feet on the floor,
Or your legs crossed,
And your hands resting gently on your lap.
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
Filling your lungs with air,
And holding at the very top of the breath,
And releasing it slowly through your mouth.
Repeat this deep breathing for a moment,
Allowing your body to relax and release any tension.
Now,
Bring your attention to the center of your forehead,
Right between your eyebrows,
The location of your Third Eye Chakra.
Visualize a beautiful indigo light radiating outward,
And filling your entire head with warmth and energy.
As you focus on this light,
Take a few moments to set your intention for this meditation.
Perhaps you wish to receive guidance or insight,
Or maybe you simply want to connect with your own intuition.
Whatever your intention,
Repeat it now three times to yourself,
And then let it go with an exhale.
Good.
Begin to focus on your breath,
Bringing your attention to the sound and sensation of each inhale and exhale.
As you breathe,
Imagine you're drawing that indigo light through your nose,
Beginning to fill your entire body with its healing power.
As you exhale,
Release any tension or negative energy that you may be holding.
Now,
With each inhale and exhale,
Visualize the light at the center of your forehead growing brighter and more vibrant.
Allow it to expand and fill your entire body with its healing energy,
Soothing and calming any areas that need it.
In that calm space,
Repeat the following affirmation to yourself.
I trust my intuition.
I am open to receiving guidance and insight.
Allow these words to sink into your mind and your heart,
Knowing that you are capable of connecting the universe and receiving the guidance that you need.
Bring your awareness back to the light at the center of your forehead that has permeated your entire being.
Imagine the center of that light between your eyebrows as a beautiful indigo-colored lotus flower,
Beginning to bloom and open your entire being to the universe,
Allowing yourself to receive any guidance or insights that might come.
Take a few moments to simply be still and allow yourself to receive any messages or insights that come to you.
Trust that you are being guided and supported by the universe.
As you continue to breathe deeply and allow yourself to be open and receptive,
Allow any thoughts or emotions that arise to simply be present without judgment or resistance.
Observe what comes in and with each exhale,
Allow them to go,
Moving back into the universe.
Gently bring your awareness back to the light at the center of your forehead,
Feeling its tendrils all throughout your body.
Allow the energy to do any last healing or balancing,
Moving through your chakras,
The center of your being,
Clearing any last blockages or stagnant energy.
Feel grounded and centered.
You can slowly begin to bring your awareness back into your breath.
Inhale and exhale,
Releasing any last tension.
Bring your awareness back into your body,
Maybe wiggling fingers and toes,
Maybe taking a short stretch,
Gently moving your body and bringing your awareness back into the room.
Before you open your eyes,
Whatever intuition did or did not come,
Allow yourself to feel the sensations,
The energy that has changed from the beginning of the practice until now.
Allow yourself to take this feeling of being refreshed,
Grounded,
Balanced,
And connected to your intuition throughout the rest of your day,
Knowing that you are connected to the universe.
Take one last deep breath,
And when you're ready,
You can gently open your eyes and continue with your day.
