Healing Shame In Relationships

With Stacey Bennington | Psychotherapist & Coach

Shame is one of the most powerful and least talked about forces in our relationships. It is the feeling that says not just that you did something wrong, but that you are something wrong. And when shame is running the show, it shows up everywhere. In how you receive love. In how you respond to conflict. In whether you can truly let someone see you. In this course, you will learn what shame actually is, how it develops, how it shows up in your relationships in ways you might not immediately recognize, and what it takes to begin healing it so you can love and be loved without the constant weight of hiding.

Stacey Bennington is a Registered Psychotherapist in Colorado and a Nationally Certified School Psychologist with an Ed.S. in School Psychology. She is also a Board-Certified Medical Support Hypnotherapist, a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, and a Certified Integrative Attachment Theory Coach, with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. She is certified in yoga nidra, a guided practice of deep rest and nervous system restoration. Stacey specializes in helping individuals understand how early attachment patterns and core wounds shape their relationships, communication, and emotional responses, and how to build more secure, connected ways of relating. Having walked her own path of healing a fearful avoidant attachment style, she brings both clinical depth and lived experience to her work. Her approach blends attachment theory, nervous system regulation, hypnotherapy, and subconscious reprogramming, meeting the mind in the deeply receptive states where lasting change takes root. Her meditations, sleep tracks, and mini courses are designed to help you feel seen in your patterns, understand where they began, and gently rewire those patterns at the root, so you can move through your relationships and your life with more security, calm, and confidence.
