Welcome to this mindfulness meditation to slow down and ground yourself.
Find a comfortable position,
Seated or lying down.
Rest your palms,
Softly close your eyes,
Allow your body to relax,
Bring your awareness to your breath.
Being aware of the natural rhythm of your inhalation and exhalation,
Noticing the sensation of each breath,
The length of your inhalation and your exhalation a bit,
So that you can keep on breathing effortlessly but also your breath is a little longer than your natural rhythm with each exhalation.
You are slowing down your mind,
Calming down your body,
Cultivating a sense of awareness.
Become aware of your body,
Notice any sensations in your body,
Your neck,
Your upper body,
Relax your lower body,
Allowing your mind to be here,
Cultivating a sense of presence without any judgements or the surface you are on.
Feeling the presence of the Mother Earth,
Earth as you simply breathe,
Feeling grounded in the here and the now,
I am slowing down,
I feel grounded,
I am slowing down,
Embracing the presence of the affirmations,
I am slowing down,
I feel grounded.
Now take a few deep breaths,
Breathe,
Relax yourself,
When you feel ready,
With a smile open your eyes,
Become aware of your body,
Become aware of the space around you,
Embrace the feeling of calmness throughout your day.
