Take a nice comfortable seated position and gently close your eyes.
Relax your body down into your seat.
Now take a nice deep inhale through your nose and exhale sigh it out through your open mouth.
I'm going to walk you through a relaxing meditation now.
Just allow your imagination to follow along with the story,
Picturing it in your mind.
You're in the middle of a lush deep forest.
There is a small path.
It's pretty shaded from the light in this forest.
But you can see a light at the end of the path that you're walking toward.
You come upon a tree with a magical mirror on it.
This mirror is made of a beautiful golden frame and you see swirling colors within it.
You know that it is magical.
This mirror has a message for you.
It asks,
What are you afraid of?
You look into the mirror and come face to face with your fear.
You look directly into the mirror and see what you've been afraid of.
What you've been pushing away and not facing.
Do this now,
Peer deeply into this mirror.
What do you see?
But this is a magical mirror.
And as soon as you see your fear for what it is,
This mirror starts to transform your fear.
It swirls your fear into beautiful colors around and around.
And it takes the fear and turns it into something new.
This new picture inside the mirror shows you what the fear is trying to tell you.
You learn something from this image.
So look deeply into this magical mirror now.
Look right into it.
If you can't see anything right away,
That's okay.
Just relax,
Be brave and keep looking into the mirror,
Allowing whatever needs to come into this mirror to come up.
You can see that just beyond this mirror is the opening to the outside of the woods where it's nice and bright and beautiful.
And you know that once this fear has been transformed into a lesson,
Then you can keep going down the path,
Out through the forest and into the sunshine.
So just look into the mirror without any fear.
Be brave,
Dear one,
And see what this fear is trying to teach you.
See the lesson and hold it in your heart.
Don't push it away.
Breathe through the lesson and know that the fear has been released.
The anxiety or stress no longer has a hold on you.
You are free from this fear.
And it's now just a lesson to remember next time a situation arises like this one.
As this situation comes up again,
Maybe you remember this lesson.
Instead of running from it,
You decide to face the fear head on because you are brave,
My dear.
You have everything within you that you need.
You are magical just like this mirror,
And you can take your fear and turn it into a lesson.
Learn from it,
And once you learn the lesson,
The fear no longer has a hold on you,
And you no longer feel stressed or anxious or afraid.
You take back your power when you do this because you are the mirror.
So once you've learned this lesson,
You thank the mirror for its guidance,
And you continue down the path toward the sunshine.
You see the opening getting bigger and brighter ahead of you,
And before you know it,
There's a beautiful clearing out into a bright,
Sunny meadow.
You hear all the birds singing,
The sun is warming and beating down on your face.
You soak it all in,
So grateful to be in the sunshine again,
And you let the sunshine pour over your body.
You feel it falling over the crown of your head,
Down through your face.
You feel the warm rays of the sun go down through your shoulders,
Down both of your arms,
Directly into the center of your heart,
Down through your chest and stomach.
These rays of sunshine flow through your hips and down your legs and all the way through the bottom of your feet.
The sunshine grounds you in happiness and peace.
It's going to be a beautiful day.
