Hi,
Today I want to tell you a story about a really loving parent.
This parent has lots of children and this parent has arms big enough to hold all of their children.
This parent has a lap big enough to hold all of the children.
This parent has unconditional love for each and every child.
And a really wise mind.
So today,
One child is feeling sad.
And this child climbs up into their parent's lap.
And the parent wraps their arms around the child and rocks them and holds them and tells them,
It's totally fine to cry as long as you need to.
I'm right here with you.
I'm right here for you.
Take as long as you need.
Another child.
Is feeling mad.
And the parent says to the mad child,
You can come up here,
Too,
And climb up in my lap.
There's lots of room.
Or if you want,
There's a big piece of paper over there.
And lots of markers and pens and pencils and paint.
And you can just let it all out,
All your mad you can put on the paper.
Just make sure you don't get any on the carpet.
Or any on the walls.
Because remember,
When we're mad,
We don't hurt anyone or anything.
And another child is feeling scared.
They climb up in the parents lap.
And cuddle up.
Right next to sadness.
And the parent has endless love,
Endless unconditional compassion.
For these children.
Sometimes if a child is feeling more than the parent knows how to deal with.
The parent has the wisdom to get help from outside other resources in the world.
This parent is really wise and really loving.
Another child is happy.
And they're just bouncing around,
Playing,
Wandering outside,
Climbing a tree,
Coming back in.
Most of the time when the children climb up into the parent's lap,
Or share whatever they're feeling and get the love and acceptance and compassion from this parent.
Their feelings pass and they just go on about their day playing,
Eating,
Learning,
Resting.
And then they're having a feeling and they come right back to the lap.
And the arms and the heart.
And the wisdom of this loving parent.
And sew.
They all lived like this.
Compassionately ever after.
Well,
I'm guessing you may know.
That in this story,
You are the parent.
And your emotions are your children.
And the more you can welcome each one.
Into the arms of love,
Into the arms of allowing,
The arms of compassion.
The sooner they'll pass,
And easier.
Even if they stay around for a while sometimes.
The more soft and loved they will feel and be.
Thanks for joining me.
Bye for now.
