You, my friend, are always doing better than you think you are. The issue is not with performance, but where our attention is flowing. If we give attention to what is not working, what we don't like about ourselves, all our perceived faults and deficiencies - guess what? We will walk in life as one who is failing. This is a sticky point that people can meet on their healing journeys - at that moment it is iomportant to send your attention to noticing what is working, what is changing and what is thriving in your life. Thus, to walk in life as someone who is actually, truthfully, doing great.
