Hello,
Dear soul and welcome.
I think of affirmations as truths that our body,
Our being already knows and wants to hear from us.
So as these words enter your spirit and your cells and your heart and vision,
See if you can soften into just allowing them to absorb without resistance,
Even if they may feel a little unfamiliar in some ways.
These truths are the antidote to the thoughts and words that aren't true,
That aren't helpful and can sometimes harm us,
Injure us.
So one way of inviting them in is to soften your body as if softening into a healing space,
A sanctuary of healing.
Letting your body find the earth as support underneath you.
Feeling the touch of air on your skin as a reminder of how very welcome you are here,
Welcomed by life itself.
Let this be a resting space,
A receiving space.
See if you can begin now as you feel your own breath moving in your own body to slow it down just a little.
It might be helpful if you place one hand on your chest and one on your belly so that you can feel the rise and fall of that healthy loving flow.
And just noticing that you can slow that movement a little and what happens when you do,
But no forcing.
And what happens if you soften your jaw,
Let go of your eyelids,
Let your shoulders relax so you're not propping yourself up.
Let the earth take all the weight of your sitting bones or your spine.
Feeling that hand on your heart space and the other one on your core,
Connecting and letting these words flow in.
My body knows how to heal and I allow it the time and space to do so.
Breathing in as you breathe out landing a little deeper.
I am safe to rest,
I am safe to soften,
I am safe to receive healing.
Let your in-breath claim the truths and your out-breath send them deep,
Deep into your body,
Your being,
Your cells.
With every breath I welcome renewal into my body.
I trust in the quiet work my body is doing beneath the surface.
Remembering sometimes we don't notice or we think it's not happening and it is,
It is.
Energy can be subtle and strong.
I honour my body's rhythms even when they appear slow.
Oh a delicious slow breath in and a delicious release slowly of that breath.
I remember that rest is not a weakness,
It is a powerful gift I can give to myself.
I am allowing healing to flow through me like light reaching every place that needs it.
Soften even more,
Drop every ounce of the weight of your bones right into the earth,
Let it go.
So that you can soften and allow the healing to flow in and reach every part of you just as your breath does.
I offer tenderness to the parts of me that are struggling.
I affirm that my body is not the enemy.
My body is my home,
My ally,
My sacred companion.
I am in the process of understanding I do not need to force or fix my body.
I remember I can simply allow and support.
Even now healing is happening.
I am held by something greater than me and by the intelligence within me.
I welcome this season of healing with courage,
Patience and love.
Simply breathing in and breathing out,
Feeling that movement right there inside you,
Affirming.
Affirming,
Sealing it in.
How good it is to remember that our body does know how to heal.
And that we are called and invited to allow it the time and space to do so.
To let go of the need to control and mend.
To acknowledge and celebrate that healing is happening.
That our body has its own wisdom and intelligence around that.
And that all we need to do is welcome that in.
And that can take patience and courage and a special kind of grace that we can give ourselves.
I hope you enjoy these affirmations and you can come back to them anytime.
It's part of your healing journey.
We're all on a healing journey and I wish you so many blessings and so much love in yours.
Until next time,
Bye for now.
