Welcome.
This is another track in my Coming Home to Yourself.
You know,
It's not a huge meditative practice because life sometimes doesn't give us the opportunity to sit down and meditate and really calm our nervous system,
Right?
So this one is about those moments before you walk back into something.
Maybe back into a room,
Back into a conversation,
Back into caretaking,
Back into cooking dinner,
Back into the work,
Back into whatever is waiting for you on the other side.
This is your moment before,
Your moment first,
Before you pass that threshold.
A chance to gather yourself before you offer yourself again.
So just feel your feet on the ground.
Feel the soles of your feet touching the ground,
The support beneath you.
Take a breath in through your nose and sigh it out.
Feel your weight being put in the soles of your feet.
One more time,
Inhaling and exhaling through your mouth.
We are gonna do some quick breaths together using a cool stream of air blown out through your lips on the exhale.
It's like blowing out a candle.
We inhale through our nose,
Right?
And then we allow the breath to come out in a cool stream of air like we're blowing out candles.
Just like that.
So wherever you are at that threshold,
Right,
Before you go back into things that need you,
Take a moment.
Bring into awareness things that are not yours,
Things that don't belong necessarily to you,
Things that are not in your highest and greatest good.
I want you to inhale,
Bring them all the way up from the soles of your feet.
And I want you to get them out with that cool stream of air,
Silently saying to yourself,
Get out.
Let it go.
Again,
Inhale from the soles of the feet all the way up through the nose,
Gathering all the things that are not yours.
And that cool stream of air out your lips.
Get out.
This is not mine.
One more time.
Inhaling from the bottoms and the soles of your feet all the way up through your body with your nose.
And on that cool stream of air out the mouth,
Through the lips,
Let it go.
This is no longer mine.
This no longer serves me.
Feel your feet on the ground again.
Give yourself a little shake,
Maybe bouncing your heels a little bit.
Loosen up.
Let go.
Let's come at this moment clear,
Full in all the things that are of us.
Right?
Go ahead one more time.
Inhale through the nose.
Open your mouth and let out a nice sigh.
When you're ready.
When you're ready.
When you're ready to move forward.
That's it.
Just begin to walk through the threshold of what comes next.
Complete.
Home with yourself.
