Greetings and welcome friends.
My name is Jessi.
Thank you for joining me for Gratitude in 5 Minutes or Less.
From the Clinical Psychological Review Journal in 2010,
Quote,
People who regularly practice gratitude are happier,
Less depressed,
Less stressed,
And more satisfied with their relationships,
End quote.
So let's get grateful.
Who doesn't like to think about food?
Today we are going to do just that.
Grab your journal and favorite writing utensil or open your notes app in your phone to give gratitude for the last meal that you really appreciated.
Consider these questions as you think about the meal.
Who made the meal?
Did you make it?
A loved one?
Did your favorite restaurant make the meal?
Or that new place that just opened up?
Write a letter of appreciation and or a private review for this meal.
Describe the flavors,
The setting,
Time of day.
What details did you really appreciate?
What did you really enjoy?
Just keep writing.
Engage all of your senses if you can.
I will let you know when there is 20 seconds left.
Ready?
Give gratitude for that great meal.
20 seconds left.
Okay,
That's time,
But if you're still writing,
Please continue.
If you feel so inclined,
Leave a review if this was a restaurant or if it was made by a loved one.
Let them know you're thinking of that meal and share with them what you liked about it.
Giving gratitude fosters abundance.
Thanks for joining me for gratitude in five minutes or less.
I am grateful for you.
Wishing you a magical,
Inspiring,
And wonder-filled day.
