Greetings,
And welcome friends.
My name is Jessie.
Thank you for joining me for Gratitude in 5 Minutes or Less.
From the Clinical Psychological Review Journal in 2010,
Quote,
People who regularly practice gratitude are happier,
Less depressed,
Less stressed,
And more satisfied with their relationships,
End quote.
So let's get grateful.
If you haven't already,
Please get out your journal or a piece of paper and your favorite writing utensil.
We will journal for about three and a half minutes.
I'll let you know when we have 20 seconds left so you can wrap up any final thoughts you may have.
Today,
We are going to give gratitude for nature.
If you can,
Go outside or sit by a window for this practice.
If you can't do that,
Remember a time where you really enjoyed being outdoors or a recent time that you spent outdoors.
As we know,
Connecting with nature can be grounding and healing.
Let's give gratitude now.
You can describe everything around you or describe a memory.
You can give gratitude for all that you appreciate about nature or you can draw a picture.
Just give gratitude in any way that you feel comfortable.
Let's begin.
20 seconds left.
Okay,
That's time,
But go ahead to keep on writing if you still have more to jot down about nature.
Thank you so much for joining me today for this practice.
I am so grateful for you.
Wishing you a magical,
Inspiring,
And wonder-filled day.
