Choose Love

This meditation helps you to choose how to interact with the world - to help you choose whether you want to feel love and positivity. It starts with focussing on the breath so that we are coming from a deep place within and not from a place of reaction. It allows you to have insight into the compassionate nature of the world and into unconditional love.

Keep your eyes closed.

Start to observe your breath.

Feel the breath as it enters.

Feel the breath as it leaves.

Feel the ribcage expand.

Feel the ribcage contract.

Feel the mind coming towards the stillness.

The breath enters.

The breath leaves.

Focusing the awareness on the breath allows the stillness in the mind to grow.

This feeling of stillness encourages you to focus more and more on the breathing.

Breathe in,

The ribcage expands.

Breathe out,

The ribcage contracts.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

You connect to the stillness deep within the mind.

You observe the stillness here.

You continue to observe the breath.

The ribcage expands,

Contracts.

The silence in the mind.

The stillness in the mind.

Continue to grow.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

And just as you connect to the silence within,

Deep within your heart,

You see a beautiful white light.

And as you connect to this white light,

You feel the origin.

The source of this white light is the great Mother Earth herself.

She's fed you,

Nourished you,

Your whole life.

She leaves her gifts,

Her minerals within her soil,

Which enter her fruits.

Her gifts to you,

Which when you eat them,

She enters you.

And she enters into every being on this Earth.

Every animal,

Human,

Every creature.

And she's there deep within you.

She tells you that as her child,

She's loved you,

Protected you,

Nourished you.

And all she has ever wanted is for you to be happy.

She tells you that the white light you feel within your heart is her desire for you to be happy.

Her wish for you to let go of any negative feelings that you hold within your heart.

Any tensions you hold within your body.

She tells you that your whole life,

She's nourished you and fed you with love.

That the reason she's left her fruits,

Her crops,

Her gifts on the Earth,

On her surface,

On her skin,

For you to eat,

Is because she loves you.

And all she ever wants you to experience is pure love.

She tells you that as her light shines through your heart,

She wants you to let go of any negative feelings that are held within.

She wants you to search your heart,

Looking for any guilt,

Any anger,

Any jealousy.

To see how it feels to hold it there.

And to let go of it.

To see how it feels to hold love inside.

To continue to search through your heart,

Using her light.

Examining all the negative feelings,

All the tensions there.

Anger,

Fear,

Guilt,

Jealousy.

Any feelings that are taking away your happiness.

She asks you to just shine the light of love into them.

Allow them to dissolve.

See how you feel when there's nothing but light inside.

And now to send that light throughout the whole body.

To allow for that light to search for love,

With love,

Throughout the body.

To fill the entire body with love.

Looking again for any tensions that are held within the body.

Any areas of negative emotion.

Fear,

Sadness,

Jealousy,

Anger.

To allow this light to shine through and release all of these negative emotions.

To turn every region of the body back into the light of love that the great Mother Earth shows us.

Feeling fear dissolving,

Anger dissolving.

Any negativity,

Any guilt,

Any sorrow.

Just turning once more into the beautiful golden light of love.

Any fear,

Any hatred.

Just turning into the beautiful positive light.

See how you feel in comparison.

How all these negative emotions are simply taking away your happiness.

And to feel how it feels.

To be light,

To let go of these emotions.

Just have this light of love deep within you.

And now she asks you to fill,

Flood your entire heart with love.

With a light of love that she has shown you your whole life.

And that she is showing you now.

And now not just your heart,

But to fill your entire body with this light of love.

Freeing up all the areas of tension,

Taking you back to the love that she has shown you your entire life.

Your heart feels lighter and lighter,

Freer and freer.

And just full of this love,

This golden light.

Your heart feels released.

Open.

Completely free.

She asks you to compare this feeling of freeness,

Freedom.

With how you feel when the negativity is trapped there.

The anger,

The guilt,

The fears.

She asks you to choose whichever one you prefer.

To see if you prefer the feeling of freedom that comes from light being shone throughout the heart.

As the heart is freed completely.

Or if you prefer any of the tensions that come from anger,

Guilt,

Jealousy,

Fear,

Negativity.

And if you choose light of love,

She asks you to allow the light of her love to expand into every region of your heart.

Into every region of your body.

To flood you,

Till there's nothing but beautiful golden light.

And as this happens,

She tells you that your natural state is love.

That your whole life,

She's not just nourished you,

Left gifts,

Fruits,

Grains,

Crops to feed you,

To nourish you,

To fill you with her love and affection.

But she's left these gifts for every one of her children.

Every insect,

Every animal,

Every human.

They're all filled with her minerals.

With her love.

She tells you that each one of these creatures that walks on her surface.

Every insect,

Every animal,

Every bird.

Every human.

Every fish that swims in the sea.

Every creature on this planet is your brother,

Your sister.

They're all fed by me,

She tells you.

I leave them nourishment.

And I fill them with my love.

The entire universe is your brother.

Your sister.

She tells you.

There's no reason for anger to exist.

For sadness.

For any animosity.

They're all connected to you.

They're all your brothers,

Your sisters.

And you see her light shining in each and every one of their hearts.

Sometimes brightly.

Sometimes less brightly.

But it's there,

It shines within.

And it connects you to them.

They all have her light shining deep within their hearts.

She tells you to let go of the negative emotions within your heart.

Within your body.

And to feel the connection.

To feel how much happier you are.

When you let go of anger,

Or greed.

Or jealousy.

Or guilt,

Or any other negative emotion.

The light starts to dissolve your heart.

Dissolves any tensions in your body.

And just love remains.

And as love remains,

Happiness emerges.

Peace emerges.

And she asks you to choose.

If you want to experience love,

Happiness,

Peace.

Or if you want to allow back in any of these tensions.

The decision is yours,

She tells you.

Choose love.

Choose happiness.

Let these positive feelings grow within.

Let the negative feelings dissolve.

Feel the freedom that comes from letting go of any negativity within.

And just feel the happiness that comes from only allowing within.

Light.

Love.

Happiness.

Let go,

She tells you.

Let go of any negative feelings.

Any negative emotions.

Just let happiness remain.

Just let love remain.

And your heart feels freer and lighter.

Your heart feels completely free.

Your body too lets go of its tensions.

And you feel flooded with light of happiness and freedom and love.

You're simply light.

And the light within you continues to grow.

You feel the love of the great Mother Earth deep within you.

You thank her for her wisdom.

And you promise her that at every moment of your life you'll try and let go of any negative feelings.

Any negative emotions.

Choosing happiness.

Choosing love whenever you can.

And she tells you every time you forget.

Just look within.

Remember her.

Remember her love.

And then see how you feel when you let go of guilt or anger or fear.

And when you allow her love to come back in.

Nothing but love remains.

You continue to see the beautiful golden light within you.

You rub both palms together.

You generate warmth in the palms.

You take the bottoms of the palms over the eyes.

And then slowly move your hands away.

Slowly opening the eyes.

But keeping the feeling of the love and the beautiful golden light within.

The feeling of letting go.

And the feeling of wanting to constantly let go.

In order to just allow the light of love of the great Mother Earth to grow within you.
