Keep your eyes closed.

Start to observe your breath.

Observe each in-breath.

Observe each out-breath.

Feel the breath enter.

Feel the breath leave.

Feel the ribcage expand.

Feel the ribcage contract.

Keep connecting your awareness to the breath as much as you can.

Take your awareness now just to the tip of the nose.

Feel the sensations just within the nostrils as the breath is entering.

As the breath is leaving,

Feel stillness.

Feel silence growing in the mind.

The breath enters.

The breath leaves.

Feel your awareness being drawn just to the tip of the nose.

Feel the sensations in the nostrils.

Feel the breath enter.

You feel the breath leave.

And the more you focus your awareness on the breath,

The more silence grows within.

More and more you can become an observer of the thoughts,

Not reacting to them,

But being drawn in by the silence that the breath brings.

You see that thoughts come and go,

But you don't react.

You just watch.

And you continue to observe the breath,

Being drawn in by the silence that the breath connects you to.

Breathe in.

Take the awareness to the ribcage now.

Feel the ribcage expand.

Breathe out.

Feel the ribcage contract.

Feel the mind being drawn more and more by silence.

The thoughts lose their power to control you.

You just become a detached observer of the thoughts,

Watching them come,

Watching them grow,

Drawn only by the silence that the breath guides you towards.

You continue to observe your breath being drawn inwards by the silence that the breath guides you towards.

Feel the sensations in the ribcage and the breath guides you towards inner stillness.

Continue to observe the thoughts,

Not reacting,

Just watching.

You see them as waves coming,

Going.

Just from a point of stillness within,

Connecting to a white light deep inside you.

You watch the thoughts come.

You watch the thoughts go.

You don't react in any way.

You realize that the thoughts are just waves and that you're not the mind.

You're something detached from the mind.

You're an inner stillness that observes the thought patterns,

The waves,

But your true nature is stillness.

And you find yourself,

You feel yourself connected to this inner stillness.

You feel nothing but white light deep inside.

You feel your entire body now being filled with this white light.

You continue to observe the thoughts,

Not reacting,

Just watching them.

And the more you watch,

The less you react,

The more you connect to the point of silence within.

And as you become an observer of the thoughts,

Just watching them,

The white light within continues to grow,

Continues to draw you more and more towards silence.

The white light you see emanates from the center of your heart.

It pulls you in,

Shows you stillness and silence.

There's no reacting now to your thoughts,

Just observing them,

Seeing them as waves,

Thought patterns that are entering and leaving.

And the less you react,

The more you just see the thoughts come and go,

The more you connect to the white light deep within.

You feel yourself in stillness here and the white light from deep within expands its stillness throughout your body,

Throughout the cells.

It fills you with a deep inner stillness and it tells you that true happiness,

Santosha,

Contentment,

Comes from deep within.

It explains to you that when you move your awareness from the heart to the mind,

The mind creates all kinds of desires,

Makes you run towards the future,

Looking for goals,

Telling you that happiness will be found in your desires.

It allows you to experience momentary happiness when the desires are fulfilled,

But then creates more desires,

New desires,

Keeps you constantly running.

The mind takes you away,

The stillness within explains to you.

The mind makes you constantly run,

Takes you away from the present moment in time,

Stops you from enjoying the stillness,

The peace that can come from being present.

You observe how the mind is filled with desires,

Constantly trying to convince you that happiness is to be found in these desires in the future.

But the light within your heart asks you to spend a moment just letting go of all of your desires,

The goals that the mind has created,

To feel the stillness that arises from within.

When you've let go of your desires,

When all you can experience is the beautiful white light that emanates from your heart,

The secret to santosha,

Contentment,

Is here.

It's in letting go of the mind and its control,

Letting go of its desires.

The secret lies in just observing the thoughts that it creates,

Not reacting to them,

Just watching them.

The light within you tells you that it's the mind that creates external happiness or external sadness.

When desires are fulfilled,

The mind can create momentary happiness.

When they're not fulfilled,

It creates sadness.

But to just observe the thoughts,

To not be controlled by the mind,

Means that you can connect to a deeper sense of contentment.

And to do this,

You just need to allow the mind and allow yourself to lose the control that the mind produces over you.

You just become an observer of the thoughts,

Not reacting,

Just watching the thoughts coming and going,

Being at peace,

Being connected to the white light within the heart,

Where santosha,

True happiness,

True contentment,

Lies.

The thoughts come,

The thoughts go.

You just connect to the stillness deep within.

You feel yourself connecting more and more to the santosha,

The contentment within.

And you feel more and more drawn in by the heart,

By the white light contained within.

The mind loses its control over you,

As you see that the mind contains temporary happiness,

Temporary sadness,

But that the heart contains permanent love,

Permanent peace,

And above all,

Permanent santosha,

Contentment.

The light from within your heart expands throughout your body,

Fills you with peace,

Fills you with stillness,

Helps you to realize and see there is no past,

No future,

No goals to run after.

Everything you've always searched for is here,

Deep within your heart.

The unconditional love of the source,

Of unlimited love that created the universe,

Is here deep within your heart.

You don't need to run or search anymore.

You don't need to let the mind control you.

All the answers remain hidden within the heart.

There is no past,

No future.

These are stories created by the mind,

And you don't need to react to the mind anymore.

Everything you've always searched for is to be found in the white light within your heart.

The source of love that created the entire universe lies deep within your heart.

There is no running left to do,

No searching,

No fulfillment of desires needed,

Because true happiness is to be found in the present moment.

Here lies santosha,

Contentment,

Deep inside your heart.

The white light within your heart expands,

And you see that this is where santosha,

Contentment,

Is to be found.

Your heart fills more and more with the white light,

Becomes freer,

More and more liberated.

The thoughts lose their power over you.

You watch them,

But you know that you never need to react to them.

They can come and go just as waves,

But you don't need to react to them.

You can stay in peace with your awareness rested in the heart center.

You can just be the observer of the thoughts,

These waves that come and go,

Not needing to react to them,

Just remaining connected to the white light in the heart.

The heart becomes filled with the white light once more.

You remind yourself that anytime you want to feel peace and contentment,

You just need to close your eyes and connect to the white light deep within your heart.

This is where true contentment lies.

The white light within the heart constantly expands,

Fills each cell,

Each molecule of your body with santosha,

Contentment,

Peace,

Bliss.

There's nowhere to run.

True happiness is here,

Deep inside.

Make a promise to yourself to always remind yourself that this is where you will always find true happiness,

True bliss,

Deep inside your heart.

You rub both palms together,

You generate warmth in the palms.

You take the bottoms of the palms over the eyes,

You bring warmth back into the eyes,

And then you slowly move your hands away,

Slowly opening the eyes.
