Meet your Teacher

Julie first discovered meditation in her home country, South Africa. During her career as a business exec in the high-tech industry in the US and Europe, she welcomed mindfulness and yoga as a blueprint for more balanced living. She has multiple 200-hour and 500-hour teaching certifications from the US and India, and has been teaching in the US since 2007. Julie is well known for her soothing voice and her recordings, and she is inspired by how Yoga Nidra becomes a gateway for personal transformation. She sees meditation as a way to realize our full potential—in body, mind and spirit.

Today you’ll learn how to declutter the mind in preparation for peaceful sleep, using Review of the Day as part of a Yoga Nidra meditation. Bringing It All Together

In our last lesson together, we expand on the concept of Greater Awareness and the comfort of connecting to your natural state of joy and inner calm. Well as instructions and information go I think this was a great presentation. I’ll echo some of the others and say that your voice is soothing and intriguing. I do wish someone would speak a bit more on what developing this/these of skills skill is like…the doubts that creep in, does past trauma get in the way, how long should one keep at this before considering it isn’t going to work for them, how to tell if your progressing…surely I can’t be the only person that experiences such “challenges?”
