We all know how easy it is to feel distracted and to lose focus during the day,
Moving from task to task without finishing anything.
This meditation is designed to help you start your day feeling grounded,
Positive and motivated.
From here you'll feel more in control and able to stay on track.
Use this guided meditation every morning for 7 or 21 days and notice your productivity and focus sharpen.
So if you like you can close down your eyes and find a position that feels comfortable for you.
No right or wrong here,
Trust yourself.
And beginning by directing your attention to your breath.
And as you breathe in,
Imagining that you are breathing in fresh oxygen into your lungs and every cell in your body.
And as you breathe out,
Imagining that you are ridding your body of carbon dioxide and any stale or stagnant energy from the night.
Two more breaths like this.
Breathing in fresh oxygen,
Breathing out stale carbon dioxide.
Awesome.
And now imagining that it's just before sunrise.
Your neighborhood is dark and quiet and you decide to take a walk.
You aren't afraid,
You feel safe and at ease.
In fact,
There's something almost magical about being out in your neighborhood at this time.
Seeing,
Sensing or imagining walking the streets or other areas of your community.
What do you notice?
The cool morning air greets your skin.
You look up and see the moon in the sky.
You take a few deep breaths into the energy of the moon.
It feels calm and peaceful.
The stars begin to fade.
For a moment,
The sky turns from black to luminous,
Deep blue.
As the sky transforms,
You can feel the energy of the morning beginning to build.
On the horizon line,
Hues of yellow,
Apricot and dusty pink begin to appear.
The sun is peeking just above the horizon line.
The sky is clear and the air is fresh and calm.
You take a few deep breaths into the energy of the morning.
The sun is peeking just above the horizon line.
Painting the sky like a canvas.
You breathe deep into the energy of the sun.
You let this sun energy,
This warmth,
Color and vitality fill your body.
Mind and heart.
You feel grateful for this sense of possibility that this new day brings.
In this moment,
You feel motivated,
Energized to steer your day in a positive direction.
And you decide to set yourself an intention for today.
Something simple,
A small commitment you can make to yourself.
You take a deep breath.
You smile.
And you trust yourself that today,
You will use this commitment,
This intention to steer your day in a positive direction and to redirect you when you lose your focus.
Long,
Smooth inhale.
Long,
Smooth exhale.
You head home feeling both grounded and inspired.
Coming back into your body as it sits or lies in meditation,
