Alright,
So hopefully you've found that comfy place where you're seated and you may like to bring the gaze down or you may feel comfortable to close the eyes,
Entirely up to you.
And just finding your posture where you are feeling comfortable.
So,
We're going to connect in with our breath.
So first of all,
We're just going to release a little bit of tension,
So connect in with the breath,
Taking a deep inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth.
Inhale through the nose,
Exhale through the mouth.
Inhale through the nose,
Exhale through the mouth.
And now,
Bringing the hands to your awareness and clenching the fists,
So bringing tension into the hands,
So we're tightening.
And now we consciously release,
Releasing the hands,
Give them a shake,
It's a beautiful gentle release.
Clench the hands on the inhale and release.
Clench once more and release,
Shake them.
Releasing the day,
Releasing thoughts,
Releasing preconceived ideas and just simply arriving.
You may even just take some rolling action through the shoulders.
And shake,
A little bit of shaking,
Moving,
Beautiful.
And just shaking out the arms again,
Lovely,
Shaking out the hands,
Lovely,
Beautiful.
Okay,
Once we've shaken it all out,
That sense of releasing,
Just letting go,
I'm going to invite you to open the eyes and coming into the present moment and to look around the room.
And as you look around the room,
The space that you're in,
Naming silently or aloud,
Are three things that you can see.
So feeling into that tangible sense of,
Could be naming the artwork in front,
It could be naming the chair that you're sitting on,
It could be naming the water,
The glass,
Whatever it is,
Just bringing yourself back into the present moment.
So it's this sense of noticing where you are and noticing in this moment,
I am safe.
Then the invitation is to come into a beautiful havening touch.
So this can be done with our eyes open or closed,
Again,
Up to you.
Really what we're doing is giving ourselves a beautiful hug.
So we are going to cross the arms and placing the hands on the upper arms,
We're going to slowly stroke from the shoulders down to the elbows.
Just keep the rhythm slow and comforting.
Beautiful.
Feeling into the mantra,
In this moment,
I am safe.
In this moment,
I am safe.
In this moment,
I am safe.
Beautiful.
Now,
If you'd like,
It's all by invitation,
You can bring the hands to the face,
To the forehead and stroking across the forehead.
Beautiful.
Beautiful.
Stroking gently,
Firmly,
Just really what feels nice for you.
Beautiful,
Gentle touch and then bringing the hands down the face,
Maybe just a little bit more gentle down the face.
Feeling into the energy.
Can feel really nice with the eyes closed.
Reducing sensory overload.
Feeling into the mantra.
I feel safe.
I feel loved.
I feel safe.
I feel loved.
I feel safe.
I feel loved.
And then just bringing the hands together,
Placing the hands on the heart and just feeling into the energy of presence with yourself.
Beautiful.
Then just feel the body.
Notice the body.
Notice any sensations in the body.
Notice any tightness.
Feel the weight of your body sinking downward.
So the sense of imagining roots growing from your sit bones and feet deep into the earth.
So feeling that,
Imagining that.
Feeling grounded.
And then consciously slowing down the breath.
So we inhale through the nose.
Exhale through the mouth.
Inhale through the nose.
Exhale through the mouth.
Inhale through the nose.
Exhale through the mouth.
Just slowing that down even more.
So inhale.
Pause.
Pause.
Exhale.
Pause.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Just keep that beautiful box breathing flowing.
Feeling the earth holding you.
Knowing that you don't need to carry everything.
You can let go.
And as we're sitting here,
Start to bring more awareness into the pelvis.
So we're going to start moving through the pelvis.
We'll be tilting the pelvis forward with the inhale.
With your inhale.
And then tilting the pelvis back with the exhale.
So just starting to get a little bit of movement through the pelvis.
So with your breath cycle,
It's that pelvis tilting forward,
Inhaling.
And tilting the pelvis back with the exhale.
And as you come into your inhale and tilting the pelvis forward,
You might notice that your heart opens as well,
Your chest opens.
So allow that.
And then as you come back into your exhale,
You're tilting your pelvis back.
You might even round gently through the back.
So just keep that moving through.
And this is a movement that we can transition into like in a cow or a cat when we're more on a yoga mat.
So it's a simple way of just really grounding into our root chakra.
The beautiful thing when we start moving our hips,
This is where we hold tension.
So again,
It's that beautiful sense of releasing,
Letting go of fear,
Letting go of what we're holding on to.
Releasing,
Allowing more space for feeling safe,
For trusting ourself,
For trusting our body.
And then just gently coming back to centre.
And again,
Bringing awareness to how you're feeling.
Lovely.
Again,
We can keep the eyes closed or open,
What feels right for you.
We are going to bring the arms up.
So a beautiful big inhale,
Opening through the chest.
And as we exhale,
We're going to bring the arms all the way down and hinging at the hips.
So just bring the torso down.
Bring the arms all the way up,
Inhale.
And hinge forward from the hips.
Let the hands rest on the floor if they reach,
Or the shins,
Or a block.
Really softening in here.
Bring the arms up again,
Inhale.
And exhale coming forward.
Let the head be heavy,
Relax the jaw.
Another one,
Bring the arms up.
And folding forward.
So beautiful,
Bowing to the earth.
Knowing that you are supported,
That you are held.
And coming on up slowly,
Coming up to an upright position.
Just placing one hand on the heart,
One hand on the belly.
And you may like to silently repeat this or say it out loud.
I am safe,
I trust life,
I belong here.
I am safe,
I trust life,
I belong here.
I am safe,
I trust life,
I belong here.
And here in this beautiful place of trust and safety,
Knowing that you are enough.
And keeping your eyes closed.
With your connection to the earth.
The relaxation that you've cultivated.
Just starting to gently breathe in to your heart center now.
The center of your chest.
Breathing into the center of your chest.
And every breath activates and opens your heart center.
Just a little bit more,
And a little bit more.
Like a light has turned on in there and is starting to grow brighter and brighter.
Breathing into your heart,
Letting it expand,
Stretch,
Open.
Remembering the little things in your life that you're truly grateful for.
Just humble little everyday things.
Start to list them in your mind.
And feel that light at your heart center expand as you do so.
Remember the last time you felt truly joyful.
Truly,
Freely joyful when you laughed without a care in the world.
Breathe into your heart and remember the energy of joy.
Letting your heart open even more,
That light grow even brighter.
Remembering how it feels to be lavishly generous.
To have generosity pouring through your heart.
Allowing that feeling of generosity to open your heart even more.
Expand that light and notice that layers of protection and armor.
Just starting to fall away from your emotional body.
As your heart remembers,
Everything is okay.
Thinking about people that you really care about,
Pets maybe,
Or causes in the world.
Activate a sense of caring in your heart.
And let it stretch your heart open even more.
So the light at your chest is now huge.
Shining out around your body as far as you want it to go.
There is caring,
There is generosity,
There is joy.
There is gratitude.
And just sitting with how beautiful it feels to have an open heart.
How wonderful it feels to let go of those layers of protection,
Of fear,
Of hiding.
And to let the heart be radiant.
And this heart energy,
This love,
This is the real you.
And we're just going to play with unzipping the body for a moment.
Just imagine you could peel the body off like a banana skin peeling off a banana.
Imagine you could just peel the body away for a moment,
You'll pick it up again soon.
The body falls down for a moment,
But the heart,
The love,
The caring,
The generosity,
The gratitude,
That is still there.
And you've put the body down and all your associations with the body,
That identity that you called you.
Now all you are is this beautiful love,
This radiance.
Feel how you can expand that radiance when you put down the identity of the body for a moment.
And just let the love grow wider,
Your heart energy extend further.
And extending your awareness now up and up through the crown.
Sending your awareness and your beautiful loving heart energy up and up.
To the center of the universe,
Or you might call it your spiritual home.
Just like you can send your roots down into the earth to connect,
Now we're sending a different kind of root up to your spiritual home,
Where your eternal self resides.
That part of you that carries on from lifetime to lifetime.
That part of you that is always at home.
And up there are your teachers,
Your guides,
Your ancestors,
Your soul family,
All still there.
Send your awareness up there now and make a connection.
With your spiritual home,
Whatever you want to visualize that to be.
Allow your imagination to be free.
Feeling the love that's up here.
The love from the beings here,
Your soul family and ancestors and guides and teachers.
The peacefulness,
The absolute safety and knowing that this self,
This eternal you,
Is not going to be damaged by anything that happens with the body or in the lifetime of the character that you're playing.
You are eternally safe and so loved.
And these beautiful beings in your spiritual home want the absolute best for your life.
They want you to have the most fun,
The most fulfillment,
The most joy.
They love you completely unconditionally.
And they're willing to help you to orchestrate things in your life,
To bring synchronicities together.
To help to work things out for you.
You don't have to carry it all on your own shoulders.
So really feeling this open hearted energy.
This connection with your eternal self,
Your spiritual home.
All of the beautiful beings that love you unconditionally.
And how safe and held you really,
Really are.
And asking yourself now,
If you knew that you were eternally safe,
That nothing could really damage what you really are,
And if your heart was filled with love,
Where would that love in your heart be leading you?
And if you knew that you were eternally safe and you were filled with love,
How would that love want to flow into certain situations in your life right now to bring healing,
To bring solutions,
To bring resolution?
And if you knew that the divine and all your beautiful team up there in your spiritual home wants more than anything for you to follow your inspiration and prosper and thrive.
And that the only limits you're putting on your life are just made up stories,
That anything's truly possible.
What would you be,
Become or create?
Just feeling yourself coming down from that spiritual home,
Coming down.
Collecting your body,
Although it feels much lighter now.
And feeling those roots going down into the earth,
Remembering that you are safe right now,
This moment.
And slowly and gently opening your eyes.
