Grounding Through The Storm

Take a deep grounding breath and let everything go before this moment. Ground yourself. Ground your mental, emotional, and body systems through this storm by breathing love, seeing love, recognizing love, knowing that you are love.

All right then.

So I'm gonna ask you to take a very deep breath,

Deep grounding breath.

Oh and just let everything go before this moment.

And another breath into the heart space,

Allowing your heart to open.

And as you allow that heart to open,

Begin to feel the love,

Feel it moving through your body system,

Through your physical,

Mental and emotional bodies with the breath.

Breathing love,

Feeling love,

Recognizing love.

And knowing that that is simply all you are,

It's what grounds you to the earth plane.

It's what allows you to access your inner wisdom,

Your inner source.

And then feeling yourself firmly planted on the ground,

Feet on the ground,

Grounding to that earth energy,

Feeling that earth energy moving up through the feet and mingling with the love that you are,

The light that you are.

There we go,

That's great.

Now I want you to notice that somewhere in front of you is a hill or a mountain.

And I want you to see yourself at the top of that hill or mountain in whatever landscape is appealing to you.

And look out on the vista,

The view from the top of this mountain or hill.

And notice what it looks like and notice how you feel as you're looking out at this vista.

Take a moment to connect to that.

Is it a view of a place you've been many times or is it brand new?

Is it a view of things past in your life?

Just notice.

And then taking a deep breath,

Standing on the top of this hill or mountain,

Grounded in the earth.

I want you to notice that there is a storm coming towards you and notice how the clouds form.

Notice how the rain falls from those clouds and the clouds are coming down at a distance.

And as you're watching that storm approach,

I want you to connect with any anxiety,

With any fear,

Frustration,

Anger you have as you're standing on this mountaintop,

Firmly grounded,

Both feet on the earth as you're watching this storm approach and notice your emotions.

Are you remaining calm or is it heightening?

And it's all okay.

This is part of the journey.

And as the storm gets closer and closer,

Perhaps you can smell the rain or feel the electricity moving around you as the storm approaches.

And just notice if it's a gentle rain or is there lightning,

Is there thunder,

Is it a dramatic storm?

And again notice your feelings of fear,

Of anxiety,

Of anger.

And as the storm begins to move on to your mountaintop,

I invite you to stand in your power and let the storm begin to allow you to stand in your power.

And as the storm approaches and is overhead,

Allow whatever the experience the storm is bringing up within you to happen,

Simply allow it to happen.

Feeling the rain,

Feeling the cold or the electrical stuff that's moving around you as the storm is overhead.

And maybe this is your time to just rail against the storm,

To yell and scream and pound your feet.

Or maybe it's time just to allow it to wash you.

Maybe it's all of that.

Allowing the electricity from the storm to reground you.

Allowing the rain to wash you clean inside and out.

Allowing the fear or anxiety or anger or stress or depression Allow this storm to just simply remove it.

This is your opportunity,

Your opportunity to release.

And as the storm passes over you and begins to move on,

Notice what you see out in your vista now.

Are there rain clouds?

With those silver linings?

Or is there sunshine and rays of sun just powering through you,

Drying everything?

Does your view look fresh and clean?

Vibrant?

Just notice.

And notice how you feel having weathered the storm.

And take a few moments to notice are there birds flying by or hopping over to check you out?

Or butterflies?

Or dragonflies?

Whatever.

And I invite you to open your heart and allow those beings of light,

The butterflies,

The bees,

The dragonflies,

The birds,

Allow yourself to receive whatever message is yours after this storm.

What are the messages that these unique individual beings are bringing to you?

Just take a moment to listen.

Listen with your heart.

And then allowing yourself to just look at your vista again from this fresh perspective.

This is your new experience of life.

Just soak that up.

And as you begin to journey back down there,

Your mountain or hill into that heart space that you are,

Into the room,

The chair,

Bring with you and trust that all the wisdom you've received and what you've released has happened in truth.

And then breathing yourself back into now,

Becoming present in the room,

In your chair.

I am one with life.

I am safe at all times.

The world is safe and friendly.

I am at peace with life.

Thank you so much for this meditation with perfect timing. Putting myself on the mountain with the storm allowed me to “pray rain” which is so needed right now as we are in the smoky air surrounded by wildfires. The storm is and will be welcome and very cleansing on many levels. Namaste🙏💖
