Welcome to this stay with yourself rose meditation for connecting with your intuition.
Start by sitting in a chair with your feet firmly planted on the floor and your hands resting in your lap.
Close your eyes and bring awareness to your breath.
Take a long slow inhale deep into your belly expanding with air.
A long slow exhale releasing any tension in the body.
A long slow inhale deep into your tummy expanding and exhaling slowly releasing any tension in the body,
Mind or heart.
Keep breathing deeply like this in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Filling with air on the inhale,
Relaxing and releasing tension on the exhale.
As you breathe I want to remind you that this meditation was created to help you gain new insights into any sort of circumstance or situation happening with yourself or something around you so that you can see more clearly what is happening under the surface of how things are being presented either by your mind or the things around you.
So just really feel yourself here and now breathing feel the edges of your body feel yourself whole contained and complete here and now in this moment.
Breathing in and out deep into the body fully relaxed with an alert mind and an open heart that is listening.
I want you to picture a school bus,
A number two pencil,
A peacock feather,
A dusty road and clouds in the sky.
Now that we know your ability to visualize in pictures is present we can enter this meditation.
I want you to picture yourself as a rose.
You can be any kind of rose,
Any color,
Any variety.
And notice the health of your rose.
Where are you planted?
How big are you?
How small are you?
Are you vibrant and alive with energy?
Are you closed up in a tight bud?
Just notice your rose.
Notice the root system of your rose.
Notice any leaves,
Thorns.
And again notice the environment in which you're planted.
And then notice if your rose is doing anything.
Is it shifting and changing?
Is it staying the same?
Once you have this picture really clear in your mind,
Be aware that this is just a glimpse reflecting back to some elements of where you might be in your life right now.
Now if there is a situation or a circumstance within yourself or with outside yourself,
I want you to invite this picture to change.
You staying right here as you are as the rose.
But bring in any elements,
Any other roses that represent other people or organizations or circumstances.
And notice where you are in proximity and in relationship to these new elements that have shown up in this visualization.
And notice any effect that they might have on your rose.
Now if you are pleased with this picture and it feels very affirming to you,
I encourage you to sit with that and embrace it.
And ask if there's anything else that needs to shift or change to still make things even better.
And allow your visualization to change while your rose remains your rose.
And find insights in whatever shifts happen.
Now if you aren't too pleased or there are elements to what you are seeing and visualizing,
That is okay.
Ask what needs to shift and change?
What needs to happen in order for this circumstance,
This relationship,
This feeling tone to be healed and to move into a higher vibration?
And then allow this image,
This visualization to shift and change as you yourself,
The rose,
Remain the rose.
But perhaps elements of yourself change as the elements around you change.
The different elements that represent aspects of what you're seeking.
And allow visions to come to you with this method to give you insight and wisdom into how you might be able to shift some dynamics or at least see more clearly into the dynamics that are happening within you and outside of you and how you are relating to these things within yourself.
I'm going to leave you with several minutes of soft music so you can really play with this visualization and practice this on your own.
If at any point you lose sight of the vision or you lose track,
You can always come back to visualizing just quick little items like that school bus or that pencil or that dusty road just to reset your ability to visualize.
And come back to your rose,
Picturing the state that you're in now.
And then allow any elements to come in that speak to and give you perspective and eye-opening understanding of the true nature of what's actually happening and how you might be able to shift some of how you are showing up in order to live from your highest self from a place of peace and fullness and health.
Because ultimately you want that rose to be healthy and full with a really really good root system,
Strong and tall,
With the ability to open fully and close when it needs to.
But all,
All with softness and beingness.
So I leave you here.
