Hello and welcome.

I'm Skyler Liberty Rose and I'm honored to be your guide during this meditation.

Please take a moment to get comfortable where you're sitting.

If possible keep your spine straight so that you're allowing energy to move through you with ease.

I invite you to close your eyes now.

Let's begin by taking a deep breath in through the nose and then softly slowly exhaling through the mouth.

And again deep breath in through the nose and then slowly exhale through the mouth.

Now just allow your breath to follow its natural rhythm.

Trust that everything is flowing as it's meant to.

As you breathe in and out easily and effortlessly I'd like you to imagine that you're walking through a meadow.

It's a beautiful day.

You can feel the sun gently warming your face.

The slight breeze softly touching your skin.

You feel a sense of ease and peace.

A sense of safety.

As you continue your walk you come to a clearing.

There's a bench in this clearing and sitting on the bench is a young girl.

As you walk towards this young girl she turns to you and smiles.

She stands up to greet you hugging you in welcome.

She's been waiting for you.

You know this girl.

You feel a deep undeniable connection.

An instant bond.

An unshakable knowing that you can trust her.

You both sit on the bench together.

She reaches out and takes your hand.

She reaches out and takes your hand.

Somehow she already knows how you are.

She already knows the challenges you're facing.

The joy you're seeking.

As you sit holding hands you're filled with an understanding that this girl has always been a part of you.

She's journeyed with you throughout your life.

But you may not have always noticed her presence.

But here in this moment you are fully present.

You are meeting your younger self.

Take a deep inhale.

You're right where you need to be.

Fully exhale.

You're safe here.

You are both safe here.

Take a moment to notice younger you.

What jumps out to you about her?

What is it about her that you're drawn to?

Her confidence?

Her ease?

Her joyfulness?

Or something else?

This younger you who may be five or ten or another age wants you to know something.

She wants to impart something to you.

Something that will help you now,

Today,

In this moment.

Allow your breath to be easy as you listen to what she's sharing with you.

As you receive the wisdom she'd like to offer you.

Perhaps you'd like to ask her a question.

A gentle reminder that you can't get this wrong.

Maybe you have complete clarity on what younger you is sharing with you.

As though it's always been right there,

Just below the surface,

Waiting for you to notice.

Or perhaps it's more murky than that.

Just know you don't need to grasp.

There's no panic or pressure here.

Just come back to your breath and once again trust that this is unfolding as it's meant to.

Try not to judge anything that comes up.

Any feelings or phrases.

Your rational mind might want to jump in and analyze or criticize.

Simply acknowledge your reaction and then try to stay in that space of openness,

Of receiving.

Take some breaths here as you allow yourself to lean into this experience.

Let your body listen.

Now you can thank your younger self for what she shared with you.

Maybe with a smile,

A hug,

However you wish.

And then as you prepare to leave her,

Knowing that it's safe to do so,

Knowing that this won't be the last time you meet,

She turns to you and smiles and says I want you to have this.

And she presses something into your palm.

You walk away from your younger self feeling safe,

Feeling protected,

Feeling reassured.

And if other feelings are coming up,

That's fine.

This is your experience.

Allow your breath to be easy.

Allow your walk back through the meadow to be easy.

Feeling supported by all of nature.

As you return to the space where you started this journey,

Take a moment to take a couple more deep breaths,

Allowing your inhale to reach all the way down and your exhale to reach all the way out.

Maybe you'd like to stretch now or adjust your body as you start to bring your awareness back to the room you're in.

In your own time,

Gently open your eyes.

If you're able to,

Now would be a really great time to journal the experience you had during this meditation.

To journal what your younger self shared with you,

The gift she pressed into your palm before you left her.

Once again,

Please rest assured this isn't something you can get wrong.

This isn't something you have to share with anyone else.

It's simply an opportunity for you to consider what your younger self has gifted you with.

You can take this in any direction you wish,

Knowing that it's all part of an ever-evolving journey of becoming who you are.

Thank you so much for joining me here today.

I'm sending love from my heart to yours.
