This is a short yet powerful reset to help you to feel safe in your body.
Feeling safe in your body is so key to lowering anxiety and regulating your nervous system and when life becomes stressful knowing that you can find safety in your body is everything.
So you won't be here long.
This is a mini reset to access quickly and in those moments you need it.
So allowing yourself to take a seat.
Take a step back.
Can sit on the floor,
On a chair,
Wherever feels comfortable.
And straight away we are just slowing everything down.
We're coming inwards and just seeing if you can notice the weight of your body on the chair or seat you're in when you're noticing the weight of your body.
We're noticing more the gravitational pull of the body.
We're not just saying okay i'm noticing the weight of my body we're actually feeling it.
Feeling almost that subtlety of gravity.
Grounding you pulling you in this downwards motion.
Bringing you to us to the space you're in.
Breathing from this space and allowing perhaps your chest or your belly to rise and fall as you breathe.
If you can allow your breath to be smooth.
Almost like silk.
So we've got this beautiful subtle heaviness of the body this gravitational pull downwards and we're creating this sort of buttery silky breath that's flowing and creating space in the body and the breath feels as though it's soothing your system You feel further away from your mind and from your racing thoughts You've remembered that you have a body and that your body can be a place to land in and to arrive in safety and just absorbing these affirmations I remember that my body does not need to stay in high alerts I alert does not have to be my resting and normal state to be in.
In this moment I am safe.
I get to create my own safety If the energy or people or things around me feel stressful it does not mean that I have to absorb that and feel stress inside me.
My body's learning safety bit by bit I release tension with every breath calm is available to me.
I'm allowed to feel calm and I want to feel calm My nervous system actually remembers peace,
It does know what that feels like I am protected,
I am grounded and I am at home within myself.
As you continue to breathe i want you to feel again into the sea the floor you're on thanking yourself for showing up here.
Soaking up this groundedness soaking all of this up knowing you can take this out now into your day.
