
For The Low Mood Days
Your go-to meditation on the grey days - the days where your mood feels low. I'm here to remind you that there is light beyond the clouds. Without the dark you cannot know the light. These dark days come with a gift, they show you your incredible strength and who you truly are. Come with me on this beautiful visualisation, to remember that sunshine still exists.

Come to this space on the days where everything feels off,
On the days when you wake up and everything just looks great,
Everything feels great and you feel so disconnected to your joy,
To your light.
When we feel like this it is as though our whole perspective of life,
Of the world,
Of everything around us,
It literally changes.
It's as though it actually looks different,
It looks grey and we forget that colour exists,
That light exists,
That good times out of this very moment you're in right now exists.
So I want to come in to remind you that even if it doesn't feel like it,
Even if you can barely remember it,
There are good times,
Better times that exist outside of the perspective you're in in this very moment.
And I know that all you probably want is to be out of this moment that you're in,
To be back in the colour,
To be back in the light,
But I want to just help you to remember a deep knowing I think you do have inside of you,
Which is that without this grey we can't actually know what all of those wonderful colours really look like and we don't want to be in the grey for long,
We don't want to go deep down into that darkness for long,
But the contrast these days provide us is so rich in learning,
It's so rich in understanding and helping us to evolve.
Without the dark we don't know the light,
Without the light we don't know the dark.
Light literally wouldn't look light if there wasn't darkness to compare it to.
It's these moments and these times that you're in that's helping you to navigate what you actually do truly want in your life and what actually is important to you.
It gives you perspective,
It helps you to know in the times where things are good,
It helps you to know this is what I want,
This is what feels good.
The trick here is to not take the greyness too seriously and I know,
I know that is so much easier said than done,
But the best way we can come through this is to almost take it with a pinch of salt,
To just say okay it is what it is and to see if as best we can to not dwell in it and to not make it our whole reality.
So how can you do this?
How you could do this right now in this very moment is to simply acknowledge it's a grey day and then to look for other things to focus your attention on,
To not necessarily try really really hard to make it the opposite because you're in it and sometimes the more we try to create joy in these moments,
The more we try to create positivity,
The opposite happens.
It's like being stuck in quicksand,
The more we fight against it,
Actually the deeper we can go.
So your job,
Your only job right now is to acknowledge it's grey,
Acknowledge that maybe this won't be the best day,
But that you do have the power to refocus your attention,
To hold it lightly,
To hold the greyness lightly,
To not take the greyness too seriously because it's not all that exists.
So take a moment to find a comfortable position and we're going to begin to turn that attention in once,
Just momentarily,
Just momentarily,
Just for a few minutes.
We're going to raise our vibration again and raise ourself up.
So take a deep breath in,
When you're ready release that breath out,
Do this a couple of times,
Breathing gently in,
Exhaling gently out,
Breathing gently in,
Exhaling gently out.
Imagine each time you're doing this you can feel in your body you are relaxing more,
Letting go.
Let's see if we can quit holding on to what should be and what needs to be and what everything should be looking like right now and everything we should be doing,
None of that,
Just coming inwards.
So I want you to become aware of your eyelids and become aware of the sensation of your eyes being closed.
So often,
Of course,
We're now waking day,
Our eyes are open and we're looking around and we're taking things in,
But in this moment you're conscious,
You're awake but your eyes are closed and by doing that what that helps us do is switch on our third eye,
To switch on this space,
You can almost imagine between your two eyes.
So imagine that space is switching on this more intuitive part,
The part that holds your wisdom,
This is the eye that can see inwards,
Not the two eyes that see outwards.
Think of this as perhaps your higher self,
The self that knows all the answers,
All the whys,
It knows far more than what you often know day-to-day consciously.
So as you're sitting or laying here,
See if you can visualize that this part of you,
The third eye,
The higher self,
Whatever you want to call it,
This wise part of you,
I want you to see if you can imagine that it's just drifting up,
Just above your body,
So it's just hovering over you,
It's like you can see yourself whilst you're hovering just slightly above the crown of your head,
Taking maybe what you look like as you're sitting or laying down there,
Taking this slight separation between the physical you and the all-knowing,
All-seeing part of you.
And we're going to imagine that this part of you is continuing to elevate up now,
It's continuing to travel higher,
So you can still maybe see you slightly down there but you're getting higher and higher.
The all-seeing,
All-knowing,
Conscious part of you is really lifting up now and you can see yourself traveling up through the sky and it's grey and it's cloudy and I want you to see that you carry on going and you push through the clouds,
You push through the murkiness,
The cloudiness,
The fogginess and as you're in the clouds,
There's not much you can see at all but you keep going,
You keep trusting,
Continuing to rise up and you push all the way through the clouds,
So far up now that you look around and the sun is out,
The sun is beaming,
The sun is shining brightly and you smile to yourself,
You smile because you remember that the sunshine's always there,
You can't believe it,
You can't believe that you forgot that the sunshine is just there,
The sun's always there doing its thing,
Nourishing,
Bringing light,
Bringing goodness,
Bringing life but they're so easy to forget.
And whilst you're up here,
You decide to soak in all the goodness,
It's almost like you can feel the warmth of the sunlight on your skin,
Rejuvenating you,
Feeling you back up with everything you need,
Renewing every cell of your body and you start to feel a feeling of a feeling of being held,
You start to feel maybe just a small rush of joy,
Maybe a feeling of knowing you're okay,
Knowing that all will be okay,
Just keep soaking this up for a couple more moments,
You are loved and you are being looked after even on the days where you don't even know it,
You just sit with that for a moment or two,
You let yourself soak that in.
So let's start to travel back down now,
Let's soak up all that we need to and you start to feel yourself coming away from the sun,
Knowing that you will see it again,
Knowing that you will feel it again and you feel yourself coming down through the clouds but maybe they feel different this time,
They feel a little lighter,
They feel a little fluffier,
You can see that they are still foggy,
They are still murky even but it doesn't feel quite the same,
It's like that makes sense,
It makes sense that it is,
It's okay that it is and you continue to travel back down now,
Coming closer to the ground as you go and you start to spot yourself again,
Sitting or laying in the position you're in,
Continuing to come back,
Imagining that you're excited to bring back this wisdom to your body,
It's like you've just received all these messages from the sun and you can't wait to integrate that into your body to remind your earthly self of all those lessons and you reach your body now on the ground and you reconnect,
You reintegrate,
You feel this wisdom coming back to the space between your eyebrows,
A little more aware of the room you're in,
You notice any sounds you can hear in the space,
The temperature of the air in your skin and you just sit with how you're now feeling,
Even if you're not feeling completely different,
You might just be feeling that something's happened,
Something's gone on,
A new perspective has been created and so you sit with a newfound trust because you've seen it,
You've seen it for yourself,
A newfound trust that the sunshine is still there even though today feels grey,
Taking another nice deep breath,
Perhaps wiggling your toes,
Perhaps even moving your feet up and down on the floor just to bring some grounding back when you're ready,
Blinking your eyes open,
Calming back to the space.
