Advent Calendar Of Calm

With Enchanted Journeys with Sarah Robinson

This journey is intended to help foster calm, clarity, and gratitude in a season that can feel overwhelming. These meditations offer imagery and reflections that can serve as gentle reminders of personal growth, mindfulness, and the quiet beauty of the winter season. Each session introduces a theme rooted in the imagery and symbolism of winter, drawing on familiar delights that may well have featured in advent calendars you have seen; glowing candles, holly boughs, robins, and pine cones, alongside ideas of nourishment like gratitude and the invitation to rest. These themes are not tied to any particular religion, but instead offer universal reflections on the beauty of the season. Each of the daily meditations begins with a reflective lesson to cultivate mindfulness and inner calm. So join me by crackling fires, frosts, and starry skies to nurture and support your winter well-being as the quiet beauty of winter unfolds and the year comes to a close.

I absolutely loved the advent! I looked forward to it everyday. The daily reminder of the magic of the season counteracted the stress of it. I usually don’t like the run up to Christmas much, but this was a real comfort. It really helped me to find what I do like about the season, gratitude and appreciation of the beauty of Christmas time; nature, fairy lights, fire, soothing hot drinks, stories, beautiful music. Please do this again Sarah. Thank you so much ♥️🎄

I write this on Christmas afternoon deep in the (still snowless) woods South of Stockholm. I’ve been an old woman alone, by choice, just me and my dog, working on a book and taking long walks, this two weeks of Christmas. It has been sublime. This advent calendar has added to my sense of time passing, brought back memories, and been a divine way to begin each day in the long darkness and finally past the solstice. It made a difference in my Christmas 🎄 this year and for that I light a candle and offer up deep gratitude. 🙏 Cynthia x
