Allow yourself to relax.
Feel comfortable and supported by whatever is beneath you.
Cushions or mat or blanket.
And take some time here as you settle the body into comfort and calm.
Allow the breath to be calm and unhurried.
We'll take our time to connect to calm and connect to peace before we start to work our moon magic.
Allow each inhale to draw in a sense of peace,
Calm and restfulness.
And every exhale,
A let go,
A release of anything you would like to let go of.
So you can inhale peace and exhale fear.
You can inhale calm and exhale anxiety.
Allow each and every inhale to draw in that which comforts and nourishes you.
And each exhale to let go of anything that no longer serves your highest good.
And right now,
Whatever season you're in,
Whatever time of day it is,
Whatever stage the moon is at above you,
We're going to visualise a beautiful,
Large,
Full moon above us in the sky.
The moon is our constant companion here on earth.
And she is so closely linked with goddess mythology.
She represents the feminine,
The cycles,
The ebbs and flows of bodily rhythms,
Of earthly rhythms.
Goddesses Selene,
Artemis,
Diana,
Hina,
They're all there within the moon's energy.
And here,
In our place of rest,
Moonbeams stream down from the full moon,
Bathing us in silvery light,
Bringing warmth and a cleansing of our day.
Imagine these bright beams of light washing away whatever tensions and tightnesses you've gathered during the day.
Washing away busy thoughts about work or emails or phone calls.
This bright full moonlight is cleansing and comforting,
Nourishing like a warm hug.
And as you relax in your place of calm,
In our mind's eye we will travel to a beautiful,
Open space.
Here we can more clearly see the full moon above us.
And we find ourselves barefoot,
Standing on soft green grass,
Each blade gently illuminated by the moon's light.
We walk calmly and with no rush across this grassy space.
And we come across a band of beautiful women,
Each holding a lantern in her hands,
As if you have come across a constellation of earthly stars.
The light of the lanterns illuminate the women's faces,
And they smile at you,
Kind and welcoming,
And with a sense that they have been expecting you.
They turn and begin to walk away,
And you know that you must follow.
Walking in peace alongside these beautiful beings,
You feel quietly excited that great things are afoot.
The full moon's light,
The full of lanterns,
Leads you through a wooded glade.
The glowing light of the moon shines down upon each and every one of you in this quiet and peaceful procession.
You come to a clearing amongst the trees.
The women with their lanterns create a great circle around you.
One of the women steps forward,
And she holds in her arms the most beautiful gown of silvers,
Greys,
And whites,
Sparkling in the moonlight.
You put on this gown.
It feels so soft and warm,
Almost as though the material has been infused with love and light.
And here in the moonlight,
Surrounded by this ring of lanterns,
This ring of stars,
This ring of beautiful women,
Maybe you see them as women you know,
Or perhaps they represent each and every one of the moon goddesses from around the world.
Maybe you see them as wood fairies and flower sprites.
Whatever friendly force feels comforting to you.
As you step into the middle of the circle,
A huge felled tree has left a giant circular table for you on which to work.
And on top of this tree trunk is everything you need to create your own special moon magic tonight.
There are bowls and little glass vials of sparkling liquid.
There are candles and incense and herbs and flower petals.
A beautiful apothecary of everything you could possibly need or dream of.
And it all looks before you at once both exciting and unusual and familiar.
You start by taking hold of a bowl.
It's smooth and warm to your touch.
It might be made of wood or of clay or of metal or glass.
Visualise the colour and material of this beautiful bowl that you hold within your hands.
And as you gaze into this bowl,
You know instinctively what it is that you wish to manifest on this beautiful moon night.
Exactly which kind of magic you wish to invoke.
You might wish to manifest bravery or joy or love or peace.
Take your time to conjure this word in your mind.
Allow yourself to visualise it fully within your mind's eye.
And as you look at all the little bottles and bowls in front of you,
You know exactly which ones you need to bring into your beautiful bowl to create your magic potion tonight.
In your mind's eye you can pick the petals and the herbs,
The oils,
The liquids,
The tinctures,
The extracts.
Allow your mind to gather all the beautiful items and mix them together into your bowl of manifestation on this moon night.
Perhaps you take a handful of rose petals from one bowl to represent love.
Perhaps shiny pearls from another to represent strength.
Maybe beautiful coloured oils to represent joy.
Perfumes to represent sensuality.
White feathers to represent harmony.
Allow yourself to gather as many beautiful items to pop into your bowl as you wish.
Take your time to envisage them and what they mean to you.
You stir all these beautiful items together within your bowl with a breath of fresh air.
You pour the liquid into your bowl with a bright silver spoon.
As all these things come together,
They create the most beautiful coloured liquid within your bowl.
It shimmers like the night sky with purples and pinks and blacks all swirled together like a galaxy.
Little dots of sparkle shine bright within the liquid.
Once again,
You bring your mind to what you wish to manifest on this night.
You hold the word in your mind,
But to the group of lantern bearers around you,
It is as though you have said it aloud.
They have heard you.
And as you raise your potion to the sky,
Each and every one of the lanterns around you is also raised high.
As you shine your light up towards the sky to allow the moon to bear witness to your hopes,
Your dreams and your manifestations.
Music Music And it's as if the moon has heard you and grown just a little brighter,
Shining a stronger light into your circle,
Shining such bright light onto the lantern barriers that they burst into light and then disappear.
And with your bowl you know what to do.
You gently pour the liquid which you have created all over your body,
Like a warm shower of light,
As you cover yourself for a moment in this liquid,
In this potion,
In this mixture of galactic colours.
The liquid is so warm and beautifully scented,
You bask for a moment covered in colour,
Covered in magic,
Covered in moonlight.
As the time comes to leave this circle of light,
Now empty of lantern barriers but still beautifully lit by the moon above,
You can continue to wear your robes,
Comforting you as you place down your bowl back onto the tree trunk,
Ready to be used the next time you wander into the woods to celebrate the full moon.
