While you're totally in the grip of thoughts.
This pure essence which is stable,
Unaffected,
Always warmly and softly present.
While you're thinking or overthinking or worrying or even feeling depressed This pure essence which is non-personal is always here for you as yourself.
It's not even here for you,
It's just there.
What truly is.
Like the sound of this car you might be able to hear coming and going.
Your thoughts also coming and going,
Your feelings,
Your stories,
Your drama.
All arising and ceasing and we know this and probably while listening to many teachings you already know this very well.
Because of listening to many teachings you might understand deeply.
That all is coming and going but still and I'm speaking from my own experience,
Still we get so much trapped in thinking again and again.
But what I've noticed as well in my life.
There is kind of a way out.
I now certainly can see that life doesn't have any problems.
Doesn't create any problems.
Life is just coming up with whatever is arising.
And we could call this problems but.
.
.
I like to refer to them as challenges.
And even challenges is a big word since also when talking about challenges,
It seems to be very hard to deal with something.
But as you learn to relax moment to moment to soften your whole body-mind system,
Moment to moment.
As this becomes more automatic.
You will notice.
The challenges even are seen kind of from a distance.
So the challenge going on here and before you were fully on that challenge trying to be with it,
Trying to embrace it,
Whatever you are trying to do.
If you are taking a distance from all.
Truly notice that it's fully okay when this is happening.
It's not even happening,
But let's say it's happening even when it feels like dark or tough,
Or if you're really anxious or full of fear.
It's so beautiful when you're suddenly taking this witness position,
So to speak.
And this might not.
Be very helpful when you're hearing this for the first time,
But by practicing.
Short moments where this is going on and suddenly a reminder pops up like this.
Out of nowhere.
This still going on.
But nobody.
Really diving into it,
Nobody judging it,
Just still going on.
And all these feelings that arise,
They might even get more and more and they might seem to be more difficult or even hard to handle.
But there's.
.
.
Already in that moment,
Because you're no longer judging anything through thinking.
In that moment.
Something is truly shifting.
End.
There might be a possibility to bypass all the feelings like,
Oh,
I can just witness.
But this is not necessary.
You can be kind of the witness,
But not as this person,
In my case,
Ruben witnessing.
Fully.
Opening up to life as it is.
