Hello and welcome to this mindfulness starter,
A chance to settle the mind for learning.
To begin,
Make yourself comfortable,
Close your eyes and just take a deep breath in through the nose and then a long breath out.
Let your body relax.
Soften the neck and shoulders and allow the body to settle,
To rest and the mind to go quiet and just notice how the body feels.
Notice the feeling of the surface it's resting on.
Notice the sensation of the muscles relaxing.
Notice the feeling of the breath,
The gentle movement of the body as you breathe in and out,
Rising and falling like waves on the beach.
Just watch these breaths without trying to change them in any way.
Observe,
Feel each breath relaxing,
Calming.
Well done.
Now open your eyes,
Bring yourself back into your surroundings,
Calm and ready to focus on your learning.
