Hello and welcome to this short meditation designed to help you calm down and get on with the rest of your day in a more relaxed and confident state.

Think of it as a pocket pep talk.

To begin find yourself somewhere fairly quiet and get into a comfy sitting position.

Let the body settle.

Now whatever's going on in your day this is your time now to park all those thoughts and let go for a moment.

So let your eyes close and take a deep breath in through the nose and a long breath out through the mouth.

Relax.

Take another deep breath like this and on the out breath imagine breathing out all your worries.

Good.

Take one more deep breath.

Breathe out any troublesome thoughts.

See them float away like wisps of smoke on a gentle breeze.

Let your breathing now settle into its own natural rhythm and just simply watch the breath in and out.

Observe its rhythm like waves on the beach.

With each out breath really let your body relax.

Imagine it releasing tension with every out breath.

Jaw muscles loosening.

Neck relaxing.

Shoulders dropping.

Stomach muscles softening.

Arms relaxing.

Legs relaxing.

Even your hands.

Happily resting.

Relaxed.

With every out breath let the whole body relax a little deeper.

Now with each in breath really feel the air flowing into you.

Refreshing you.

Feel the energy it's giving you.

Infusing all your cells with oxygen and renewed power.

With every in breath letting the body sit up a little more proud,

Confident.

With each in breath allowing the body's posture to strengthen.

Spine and head naturally aligned.

Shoulders back.

Chest open.

The optimal posture to bring in even more energy.

Feel it now with every in breath.

Growing stronger.

More confident with the relaxed sense of power of a seasoned warrior ready for anything.

Imagine filling yourself with power and purpose now.

That everything you now do you'll do with the same relaxed confidence you now feel.

Easily facing challenges.

Seeing them as experiences to make you even stronger.

Like collecting power ups for life.

Focus your awareness now on your relaxing breath.

On your posture of balance and ease.

On the power and confidence surging through your body and mind.

Then being aware of the normal feelings of the body.

Open your eyes fully into the present moment.

Bringing with you that feeling of confidence.

Of relaxed power.

Ready to use it in your day.

Use it well.
