Hello I'm Richard Willis and welcome to your short meditation on a calm sky.
A brief break in your day to let your mind relax and drift calmly like the clouds.
Take a moment to get comfortable and then take some deep breaths in through the nose and out through the nose.
With each out breath letting go,
Releasing worries and tension.
Just breathing it out,
Relaxing and as you close your eyes allow your mind's eye to visualize a beautiful blue sky filled with white fluffy clouds.
Notice the richness of the blue,
Your relaxed gaze taking in the vast expanse of the sky,
The space,
The freedom.
See the clouds of different shapes,
Playfully recognizing familiar objects in them and as the clouds drift so does your mind.
Carried on a gentle breeze of relaxation,
Watching the clouds lazily sail across the sky,
Some slower than others,
Some blending together,
All drifting happily in the ocean of the sky.
Take a moment to enjoy this.
Now bringing with you this sense of relaxation,
Open your eyes and feel that calmness and peace before returning positively to the rest of the day onwards.
