Welcome to day 24.
I'm so glad you're here.
Today is going to build on yesterday.
Yesterday I mentioned that when we are grounded it affects other people's energy and helps bring the intensity down and that's helpful for them as well as it is for us.
So we're going to expand on that a little bit today and really anchor it in.
So when I would like what I would like you to do,
Don't forget to write in your journal of course,
But I'd like you to focus today on being grounded in peace and what does that mean?
Well grounding is a way of connecting your energy with the earth okay and it actually just brings you to the present and brings you to a very focused and clear place so it's very helpful.
It's very easy to do by thinking about being a tree.
If you were a tree and you had roots growing down from the bottom of your feet,
Now to do this you should probably put your feet on the floor and maybe even stand up.
If you stand up,
Your feet are on the floor and you think down from your feet down into soil.
Just think,
Imagine it,
Imagine roots growing down there deep deep deep deep into the soil.
Then imagine them soaking up soaking up earth energy like the way tree roots soak up water.
Soak it up up bring it back up,
Let it absorb and continue to rise up from your feet and your legs and all the way up into your body filling your body with this earth energy all the way up all the way up until you totally fold to the top of your head and reach from the top of your head for sunlight and bring that down to your heart.
If you really just try to imagine that it doesn't have to be perfect just imagine it think about that happening and then you open your eyes you are grounded you are fully present.
Your mind has any chaotic place it has gone before it's just all been cleared and so this is very very helpful.
I would like you to try doing this often today okay hopefully you just did it right now but being able to be that way in the midst of other drama that's going on is going to help de-escalate the drama around you and keep you from getting involved in it emotionally.
You can maintain your peace and calm and compassion is all part of that feeling.
