Get comfortable in a lying position,
Either on a bed or on a soft mat on the floor.
Just align yourself in a way that feels comfortable and in integrity with your body.
I'm going to take you through a gentle body scan.
Just pay attention to the parts of the body as I label them and rotate your awareness around those parts of the body without moving,
Just staying still and relaxed.
Bring your awareness to the point between your eyebrows,
To the throat,
The right shoulder joint,
The right elbow joint,
Middle of the right wrist,
Tip of the right thumb,
Tip of the index finger,
Tip of the middle finger,
Tip of the fourth finger,
Tip of the fifth finger,
Right wrist joint,
Right elbow joint,
Right shoulder joint,
Throat,
Left shoulder joint,
Left elbow joint,
Left wrist joint,
Tip of the left thumb,
Tip of the index finger,
Tip of the middle finger,
Tip of the fourth finger,

Or begin to invite movement into your body wiggling your fingers and toes,
In your own time,
Gently bringing yourself back up,
And welcoming back in the day.
