Hello and welcome to this week's guided meditation.
Today we'll be creating a vision of heartfelt connection and stepping into it with an emotional activation.
To begin this meditation,
Find somewhere quiet to relax and close your eyes.
Begin to deepen your breath,
Lengthening your inhales,
Slowing down your exhales.
See if you can do this effortlessly and without strain.
Simply moving to the edge of fullness and then gently,
Slowly letting the air go,
Releasing it from your lungs.
Easy in,
Easy out.
Enjoying the sensation of your lungs expanding and the soft contraction on the exhale.
Feeling soothed by the consistency of your breath,
The steadiness of it,
The continuity of it.
Easy in,
Easy out.
Allow your attention to rest on your body and see if you can soften the outside edges of your body.
Letting them melt,
Soften and relax as you become heavier,
More rooted and calm.
And now keeping your attention on your body,
See if you can open up the inner spaces.
Feel them brighten and lighten as you breathe,
Becoming more spacious,
More open to life.
Letting the fresh air in as you take an easy inhale and with a sigh,
Releasing completely,
Coming to a state of inner stillness and calm.
From this state of relaxation,
Allow your awareness to turn inwards to your own heart and inner life.
See your whole self.
Witness all of you,
Without judgment.
Just hold space for all that you are,
To exist in this moment as a whole and perfect creation.
Breathe easy and begin to nurture a safe and loving space within yourself.
Be gentle,
Be tender as you open a space of respect and kindness.
Be sweet and loving to you.
Feel your own loving attention upon yourself,
Completely seen,
Safe,
Loved and respected in your own presence.
Just here,
Continuing to breathe easy.
In and out.
Now begin to imagine what it would be like to be greeted with this love,
Reverence and respect everywhere you go.
What would it be like to be completely seen,
Loved,
Safe and respected everywhere you go?
To feel people's eyes light up and sparkle with warmth and welcome as they see you.
To feel deeply seen and known and loved as you are.
In your family,
With your friends,
In your community,
In your workplace,
As you travel the globe and everywhere your heart takes you.
What would that feel like to meet love everywhere you go?
To meet respect,
Genuine heartfelt curiosity and warmth?
To meet appreciation in the eyes and hearts of everyone you meet?
Feel how people delight in you and greet you with pure joy and excitement to be with you.
Notice how seen,
Loved,
Safe,
Known and respected you are in their presence.
Notice how you greet people with this same warmth and unbounded joy,
The same unconditional love and respect.
Knowing from the very core of your being their goodness,
Their worthiness,
Their blessedness and the power of their unique gifts and perspective.
Feel your love moving outwards,
Your reverence,
Your appreciation.
Notice how your heart flutters in delight when you meet someone new,
How your eyes sparkle,
How each interaction feels like one of homecoming.
Coming together with warmth and respect,
Not needing or wanting anything from each other,
Simply taking delight in them as they take equal delight in you.
Just enjoy this feeling of warmth and connection.
Taking a nice easy inhale and exhaling with a sigh.
Loving who you are,
Loving this life you get to live and everyone you meet.
Feeling the blessing of it and the miracle of it,
The gift of being,
Seeing and knowing as you do.
When you're ready,
Gently open up your eyes,
I invite you to bring this vision of feeling and meeting kindness,
Love and respect everywhere you go with you today.
Let it guide your thoughts and actions,
Making it real one step,
One breath,
One choice and one smile at a time.
The next person you see or meet or interact with,
I encourage you to look at them with the eyes of love,
The open heart of compassion and the desire to appreciate and celebrate them exactly as they are,
Giving them the gift of who you truly are.
Know that I see you,
I love you,
I respect you,
I appreciate you and I delight in you.
Namaste.
Namaste.
Namaste.
Namaste.
