Hello and welcome.
Today's meditation is all about slowing down and remembering to really live in each moment fully and with presence.
So today I encourage you to take your time as you get settled,
Really tuning into your movements and adjustments as you do.
Setting yourself up in a way that's both comfortable and invigorating by keeping a long and straight spine with the crown of your head lifted up towards the sky.
Softly close down your eyes.
Take a moment to get a general sense of where you're at right now,
How you're feeling.
Not rushing this process,
Sit with yourself for a few moments,
Giving yourself the time to be how you are and where you are.
Now take a nice deep breath in,
Really enjoying the feeling of the air moving into your lungs and exhale with a sigh,
Feeling the relief and softening this release brings you.
Two more times just like that.
Inhale and exhale.
Inhale and exhale.
Exhale.
Ferris Bueller says,
Life moves pretty fast.
If you don't stop and look around once in a while,
You could miss it.
The quality of our lives is determined in the present moment.
We can spend it in a hurry or take our time and smell the roses,
Enjoying each moment for the gift that it is.
Rush and hurry are fear-based ideas coming from a belief in the lack of time and because of that,
Inherently destructive.
It's easy to forget things,
Miss important details and of course miss out on the joy that could be had by rushing from one moment to the next.
Abraham Hicks reminds us that a happy life is just a string of happy moments but most people don't allow the happy moment because they're so busy trying to get a happy life.
So let's take a moment to slow down here and create a cadence of calm from which you can really feel and see the beauty of your now and all the rich treasures it holds.
To do this,
We'll be using a mantra and so for the next three minutes or so,
I'd like you to repeat the words,
There is no rush.
And with each repetition,
Speaking it slower and slower with greater pauses in between each word.
The key here is to really feel into the pause between each word and notice the aliveness and the unhurried stillness that is always present in this moment.
There is no rush.
You'll hear a soft chime when the time is up.
So let's take a moment to slow down here and create a cadence of calm from which you can really feel and see the beauty of your now and all the rich treasures it holds.

Beautiful.
Take a deep breath and gently release the mantra.
And see if you can take the essence of this mantra into your day,
Moving extra slowly and use it as an exercise in spacious and abundant living.
Walk slower,
Talk slower,
Chew more slowly,
Read and respond to texts slowly.
Get really interested in the micro moments of life.
By slowing down and choosing not to rush,
You're creating the space to be more deliberate in what you choose to say,
Think,
Speak and do instead of living on autopilot.
There is a very good chance that moving slowly will feel unnatural and almost painful at first.
But with practice,
You can begin to live a deeper and richer life in the fullness of each moment,
Awake to the beauty and nuances of it.
And it doesn't mean you don't move quickly anymore,
It just means that now you have two speeds in your back pocket and you can choose how you move and be with deliberate intention rather than out of habit.
Breaking habits can take time and so if you catch yourself hurrying from one task to the next,
Remember your mantra,
There is no rush.
I want you to know that all is well,
Time is on your side and that you can accomplish great and wonderful things in a state of ease and joy.
Life is one grand symphony and when you trust your timing,
You'll always arrive exactly where you need to be at the perfect time.
With so much love,
Namaste.
