It's safe to relax.
Hello and welcome to this week's Purely Being Meditation.
Today we'll be gently loving the body,
Mind,
And spirit by going through a light wash.
Allowing yourself to be renewed and refreshed by love's presence.
Feeling how this nurtures and nourishes your natural state of ease and wholeness.
To begin,
Find somewhere peaceful to sit or lay down.
Get comfortable adjusting any pillows or blankets around you.
Until you can completely relax and feel a sense of effortlessness wherever you are.
Close down your eyes.
And softly bring your attention to your breath.
Without needing it to change or be different.
Simply allow your awareness to fall into rhythm with your breath.
Almost like you're catching a wave.
And just sit with yourself here,
Riding the waves of your breath in and out.
Now invite the breath to expand.
And see if you can do so with your body.
Extending the breath like you're taking a big juicy stretch.
And letting your body tell you what feels good and how long the breath needs to be.
In and out at your own rhythm.
And without any special effort,
See if you can let your body soften and open up even more.
Invite your body to speak the language of openness.
You might do this through relaxing your shoulders down your back.
Softening the belly.
Maybe lifting your heart ever so slightly.
Perhaps allowing the palms of the hands to open up skyward.
Relaxing and softening all the muscles of your face.
Letting all tension in your body melt away.
Feeling the spaciousness of your body.
The space between yourselves.
Between each breath.
The space between each word I speak.
Becoming more relaxed and more spacious with each passing moment.
Continuing to feel the breath massage you from the inside out.
Letting go of everything but this moment.
This breath.
The sweet,
Soft sensation of you.
Gently arriving where you are.
Receiving yourself fully.
And as you sit here in a relaxed state,
Begin to feel and sense a nourishing waterfall of liquid,
Lighted love pouring over you.
From the top of your head to the tips of your toes.
Washing over you,
Through you,
And all around you.
Feel it pouring through your crown chakra at the top of your head.
Massaging your brain and scalp.
Washing over your face.
Relaxing every muscle in your face.
Cleansing,
Easing,
Relaxing.
Feel this lighted love pour over your neck and throat chakra.
Washing this area with liquid,
Lighted love.
Scrubbing it clear and open.
Bringing a sense of lightness and ease.
Feel it washing over your shoulders,
Through your heart,
Your chest.
Massaging each little muscle and tissue.
Aligning energy.
Liberating and cleansing the body.
Healing and loving every cell and space in between.
Breathe in.
Exhale out.
Feel this lighted,
Liquid love pouring down your arms.
Massaging the arms,
The palms,
The fingers.
Feel it washing down through your torso.
Massaging your solar plex chakra.
Your root chakra just behind and below your belly button.
Your sacral chakra.
And all your interior organs.
Feel it pouring through any areas that need special attention.
Washing and massaging these areas with liquid,
Lighted love.
Clearing,
Cleansing and bringing a sense of ease,
Openness and fresh life to these areas.
Feel it pooling down through your hips and pelvis,
Pouring into your legs.
Washing you.
Soothing you.
Pouring down through your feet and out into the earth.
Connecting you to Mother Earth through a powerful and anchored stream of light.
Feel the refreshment and grounding this brings.
Feel your whole body washed,
Massaged and scrubbed by this liquid light from the inside out and the outside in.
Like a bubble bath of love and light.
Take a deep breath in and let it go with a sigh.
Notice how you feel now after spending a few minutes being nourished by this stream of loving light.
Perhaps a little more open,
Clear minded,
Awake.
Take a moment to bask in your own presence here.
Feel your wholeness.
Feel the blessing of you.
Receiving it with effortless ease.
Simply allowing it to be as it is.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Begin to bring some gentle movements into your body.
Perhaps wiggling your fingers and toes.
Arriving fully in this moment.
Fully awake and aware in your body.
Allow yourself to take as long as you need here.
Not rushing anything.
And when you're ready,
Softly open up the eyes.
Moving forward into your day from this freshly washed,
Loved,
Enlightened place.
Knowing that you can reconnect to this flow of light at any time and be nourished by its radiant love.
