Guided meditations are a great way to introduce yourself to a meditation practice. It can be intimidating to sit down and think about nothing, or to focus on the breath in silence. Guided meditation gives you something to follow, some much needed guidance. They don’t just have to be for the novice student either, many people love the soothing sound of someone’s voice, and the ability to shut off with no pressure of “getting it right."
