Welcome.

My name is Andrea Ashley and I'm so glad to have you here with me today.

I'm going to be sharing a self-love affirmation meditation.

This meditation practice was actually inspired by a new friend.

We work together as we practice our life coaching skills.

And in our last session,

I received such a great reminder from her and more so a challenge from her.

And that was to focus only on my self-love.

Rather than to constantly be working on how I can help other people or working on how I can continue to grow or how I react or act or attract with other people.

Or how I need to be creating or encouraging to help other people raise their own self-love.

Instead of all those things which are all wonderful,

But just to simply sit with myself and truly love myself.

Without any goals,

Any initiatives.

Just simply honoring and reminding myself of who I am in this moment.

As a yoga teacher and holistic practitioner,

I am always a student first.

Constantly learning,

Relearning,

Reinterpreting,

Revisiting and reminding myself or being reminded as the case may be of the practice.

And this is the practice.

And we are in it together.

Wherever we may be on our journey,

Novice or expert or anywhere in between.

We count on each other and are invaluable to each other's existence.

Yet we infrequently take time to thank ourselves for our own contribution.

To reconnect and be there for ourselves.

And send ourselves some deep abiding love.

So let's take some time together to reconnect with how amazing you are.

Let me remind you to love yourself just as I was reminded.

And just maybe you will leave feeling filled up and have the opportunity to remind someone else when they are in need.

So take a moment now to settle into a comfortable seated position.

Sitting up tall with a straight spine.

Making sure you are fully supported.

And that all distractions are put away.

We'll begin by taking a deep breath in through the nose.

And deep exhale out through the mouth.

Letting it go.

Let the shoulders relax.

Maybe the hips release a little.

Deep inhale in through the nose.

And exhale out through the mouth.

Letting the entire body soften.

Last one.

Make it your deepest inhale yet.

And exhale out through the mouth.

Letting everything go.

Encouraging any stress or tension to release and melt through the body and out.

Letting the eyes gently close if they're not already.

Let the tongue release from the roof of the mouth so we're softening the jaw.

And as I recite these affirmations.

Allow my words to become your words as you silently repeat after me.

I promise to love myself.

I am worthy of compassion.

Today I choose me.

I approve of myself.

I honor myself and listen to my instincts.

I love myself deeply and fully.

I respect my limitations.

I acknowledge my self-worth.

Today I stop self-sabotage.

My life is a gift to myself and to those sharing this time with me.

I feel lucky to be me.

I promise to love myself even in challenging times.

Take three deep breaths.

I promise to love myself.

I am worthy of loving myself.

Today I choose to stop apologizing for being who I am.

I approve of where I have come from.

I honor my desires.

I love myself deeply and fully.

I respect my needs.

I acknowledge my need for significance.

My life is beautiful.

Today I stop compromising what I want.

I feel appreciative for all that I have.

I promise to love myself even when someone else doesn't.

Take three deep breaths.

I promise to love myself.

I am worthy of my own acceptance.

Today I choose to let go of others' expectations and live as the authentic me.

I approve of my appearance.

I am unique and beautiful in my own right.

I honor my body.

I love myself deeply and fully.

I respect my boundaries.

I acknowledge the magic of my senses.

My life is my path.

No one else's.

Today I stop judging my physical features.

I feel grateful for my body's abilities.

I promise to love myself even when I feel that I have failed.

Take three deep breaths.

I promise to love myself.

I am worthy of beautiful self-thoughts.

Today I choose to think of myself as I would a best friend,

Seeing myself in a loving light.

I approve of my decisions.

Even when they fail,

I have learned something.

I honor my mind.

I love myself deeply and fully.

I respect my thought process.

I acknowledge my beautiful mind.

My life is thoughtful and kind.

Today I stop negative self-talk.

I feel happy with who I am.

I promise to love myself even when I have made a mistake.

Take three deep breaths.

I promise to love myself.

I am worthy of celebration.

Today I choose to acknowledge my successes.

I approve of taking time off to spend however I like.

I honor my spirit.

I love myself deeply and fully.

I respect my well-being.

I acknowledge my accomplishments.

My life is being lived to the fullest.

Today I stop shrinking my light to make others feel comfortable.

I feel proud of who I am.

I promise to love myself even when I am doubting myself.

I am ready to take a deep breath.

Taking a moment here to thank yourself for your practice.

Sending yourself gratitude and love for all that you do today and every day.

And even for just showing up and spending this time for yourself.

Namaste.

This is an excellent self-love affirmation meditation. One of the best on the app. There are a few minutes of background to begin with, and the meditation really starts around the 14:05 mark. Námãśtę.
