Welcome to this five-minute morning meditation with a theme of awakening to possibility.
My name is Olga and I will be your guide for the next few moments.
Sit comfortably.
Close your eyes if you feel cold too.
And take a deep breath in.
And now take a long breath out.
And now welcome a new day.
Before you jump into what lies ahead,
Let's take a few moments to just be here.
Right now in this quiet space,
Before the world starts moving,
This is your time to reset,
Recharge,
And to meet this day with intention.
Begin by noticing the subtle weight of your body resting amongst the surface beneath you.
Feel the gentle pull of gravity anchoring you to the earth,
Grounding you.
Take a deep breath and as you breathe out,
Let your shoulders soften,
Your jaw unclench,
And your hands rest loosely.
Allow yourself to settle into this moment,
Into your physical space,
As if the morning is cradling you into a soft embrace.
And guide your awareness towards the question,
What energy do I want to bring into this day?
Think of a word,
A quality that resonates with you.
Is it peace?
Is it joy?
Confidence?
Courage?
And take a moment to sit with that word.
Let it sink into your body.
Feel it nestle into your chest as if it's a seed that you're planting for the day.
Whatever comes,
You will meet it with this energy.
So breathe into that vision.
Breathe it into reality.
Trust that you have everything you need within you to move through this day.
And whenever you're ready,
Gently open your eyes.
This is your day,
Yours to shape,
To explore,
To create.
