Les 1
Awareness & Seeing Resistance
In this first session, we explore Awareness, the foundation of the Lotus Method. You’ll learn to recognise resistance as it arises, noticing the thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations that accompany it. Through guided meditation, you’ll practice observing these experiences without judgment, creating space for gentleness and choice. Awareness is the seed that allows transformation to begin, just as the lotus first senses its place in the mud before rising toward the light.
Les 2
Beginning Gently & Building Momentum
Today we focus on Flow, the second step of the Lotus Method. Flow is about beginning gently, lowering the barrier to action, and allowing momentum to carry us forward. By starting with small, manageable steps, we bypass resistance and open the door to a natural rhythm of focus and presence.
Les 3
Stillness & Resting in Presence
Today’s focus is Stillness, the third step of the Lotus Method. Stillness gives us space to reset, calm the nervous system, and reduce the grip of resistance. Through gentle meditation and simple pauses, we learn to rest in presence and see our challenges from a place of clarity and calm.
Les 4
Intentional Action & Focused Effort with Presence
Today we turn to Intentional Action, the fourth step of the Lotus Method. With awareness, flow, and stillness as our foundation, we now direct our energy into purposeful, focused action. Instead of multitasking or pushing from stress, we’ll practice bringing mindful attention to one task at a time, cultivating clarity and presence in how we act.
Les 5
Patience, Integration & Trusting Growth
Our final step in the Lotus Method is Patience. Just as the lotus rises slowly through mud and water to bloom in the sunlight, we too grow steadily when we allow time, trust, and consistency. Today we’ll reflect on the whole method, practice self-compassion, and plant seeds of patience so that your growth continues beyond this course.
