The intention of this practice is to unearth,
Understand and to heal your deepest fears.
During this exercise you may well experience the presence of fear or anxiety in your body.
It's important for you to remember that you can stop at any time if you don't feel safe.
Also remember that even if fear is present you don't need to run away from it.
It's okay to accept it and to let it exist within you.
The first step to healing your fear is to make peace with it.
So if you have a particular fear that you'd like to focus on,
Bring it to mind now.
If you're not sure what fears are living within you or which one to use for this practice,
Instead bring to mind something that you feel blocked or stuck on right now.
Focus on your fear or your challenge,
See it,
Feel it,
Visualize how it affects you and how it plays out in your life.
Breathe into any feelings that show up in your body and if you need to,
Giving yourself permission to press pause and to come back to this exercise if it's too difficult for you now.
But if you're feeling strong and grounded despite any fear or other feelings that may be present,
Then breathing deeply and inviting these feelings to stay.
As you focus upon this fear or this challenge,
Inquiring within yourself to see if you can give this fear a name or a label.
This will help you to refer to it and to work through it.
Becoming conscious of the name that comes to you,
It could be a fear of being rejected or a fear of success,
A fear of being seen or a fear of losing everything.
Or maybe it isn't a fear,
You could refer to it as a stressor,
A block or a barrier.
Trust whatever name your intuition delivers to you.
Next we want to find out what lives underneath that fear or block.
Asking yourself now,
What am I really afraid of?
What lives underneath this fear?
As you ask these questions,
You might like to visualize that you are opening the lid of an old wooden chest.
As you lift the lid,
Peek inside and see what's there.
Asking those questions again,
What am I really afraid of?
What lives underneath this fear?
And open up some space for the answer to intuitively arrive.
What matters to slide?
Now we're going to repeat this process one more time.
Looking yourself again,
What am I really afraid of?
What lives underneath this fear?
And as you ask these questions,
You might like to visualize that you are opening the lid of an old metal box.
As you lift the lid,
Peek inside and see what's there.
What lives underneath this fear?
And allowing the answer to intuitively arrive again.
What is this?
To your thoughts,
Feelings and visions as these will point you towards your truest underlying fear.
Taking in all the detail of the information that's being provided to you.
Trying to understand it.
Imposing another question to yourself now.
What does this fear need from me in order to heal?
And see what answer flows to you.
You might find that your fear is very dominating and that it will attempt to give you a response here that keeps you stuck.
But look past this to the thing that will set you free from the grips of fear.
What does this fear need from me in order to heal?
And see what answer flows to you.
Letting all of that fear and imagery go now.
Connecting with your breath and body once again.
Feeling anchored and grounded.
Feeling safe in your body.
Feeling deeply to bringing yourself back into a peaceful space.
Thanking your intuition for its assistance today.
Looking back and opening your eyes when you're ready.
