Hello and welcome to this guided meditation.
For this meditation,
Find yourself coming into a comfortable position,
Either sitting or lying down,
And in a place where you will not be disturbed for the next several minutes.
Now as you settle into this space,
Close the eyes and take awareness to the breath.
Just checking in with how you feel physically,
Emotionally,
And mentally before we begin.
Let's go ahead and bring that awareness to the breath.
On the inhale,
Feeling the ribcage rise,
And on the exhale,
Allowing the ribcage to fall.
Flowing with this nice steady rhythm of the breath,
Let it be your guide if your mind should tend to wander throughout this meditation.
And with each exhale,
Find the body starting to relax from the top of the head all the way down to the tips of the toes,
Just allowing the body to rest and relax breath by breath.
Relaxing the eyes,
Relaxing the jaw,
Keeping a nice space in between the teeth,
Relaxing the neck and the shoulders,
Relaxing the chest and the abdomen,
Relaxing the back,
The hips and the legs,
The arms,
Hands,
Feet,
Fingers,
And toes,
Just allowing the body to fully and completely relax.
Now with the breath starting to surrender,
Surrender any cares,
Any worries,
Any concerns,
Just allowing all these things to set aside just for a little while through this meditation,
Giving any of this any energy from thought as we start to let go of these feelings and thoughts,
Letting them drift away one by one,
And just finding yourself in the present moment with the breath,
My voice,
And any of the noises and sounds coming from around you in your space,
Just being a witness to this vibration without giving any energy of thought to the vibrations that you hear.
Now from the breath,
Let's go ahead and start to imagine,
Imagine that you see a door,
You're standing in a room,
And as you look around the room,
Just imagine what kind of room it would be in your mind,
Noticing all the details of what may be in this room,
And as you look around this room,
You notice a door,
And you're curious about the door,
So you go ahead and walk over to it,
And you open it up,
And you notice as you open this door that there's a staircase leading down,
And at the end of the staircase there's a shining light,
A beautiful bright light that beckons you to come toward it.
So slowly you start to walk down the staircase one by one each step until you reach this light,
And once you step into the light you notice that you are on a beach,
That the doorway leads to this beautiful beach,
Sand,
The sun is shining,
And as you look up the birds are soaring in the sky effortlessly.
So taking a few moments here to look around in the scene and just noticing all the sights and the sounds that you may find in this place,
Any smells,
Maybe there's a gentle breeze,
But whatever you imagine in this space,
Imagine it to be comforting and calming,
And as you walk along the beach now,
You find yourself walking along the shore,
Along the water,
As the waves quietly come crashing in,
And gently drawing back away into the vast sea,
As you sit there and witness this ebb and flow of energy,
And just feeling connected to this space in this moment in time,
Just feeling a sense of ease,
A sense of wonder,
And as you're walking now you find a place to sit and just enjoy all this excitement from all around,
Just noticing all the senses in this space,
There's so much here to be drawn to that brings joy,
Peace,
And harmony,
And as you sit in this space you gaze up into the sky so blue as the sun starts to set,
And just admiring the beautiful colors of this energy in the space that we witness with the eyes,
And just noticing how the sky seems to go on forever,
This infinite awareness,
Knowing that we are connected,
You are connected,
To all there is in this universe,
And just allowing the mind to be still enough to witness this energy in this moment,
Where nothing matters,
Just being in this space in this moment,
For this moment is all we have,
All there ever will be and ever was,
All into one,
Now as you start to sense more ease in this moment,
Notice here a little bird,
Hops right along beside you,
That's a beautiful little bird,
Pure white,
Lovely feathers,
Now as this bird gets closer to you just feeling that it's an old soul,
Maybe a soul that we're familiar with,
Feeling connected to the soul as if you can communicate anything you need in this moment to release,
To let go,
Or even ask for guidance and wisdom to find the right path,
So sitting here quietly with your little friend for a few moments,
Surrendering and allowing anything at all in this space,
Whatever is needed to let go or to draw in,
Finding what a lover connect joy into your heart,
And in this space,
Know that you can come back any time and visit to surrender whatever it is you need to surrender or to ask whatever it is you need to ask,
Now as we finish here,
As you finish with your friend,
This little bird flies off into the distance,
Over the water,
Toward the Sun,
Going smaller and smaller until it disappears into the sky,
The vastness of this infinite universe,
So that you may be divinely guided on the right path,
So now let's go ahead and get up and start to walk back,
And as we walk back along the shore once again just noticing and observing through the senses in this space,
All the vivid colors and sounds and feelings in this space,
As you start to walk back toward the door in which you emerged,
But as you go back,
Feeling a sense of love,
Peace,
Joy,
And harmony,
And you walk back up the stairs one by one,
Slowly merging back into physical reality,
Breath by breath here,
Taking that awareness back into the room as you get toward the top of the stairs from which we started,
As you get into this space now bringing the awareness gently back into the body,
Taking the time to gently open the eyes,
And completing this meditation today,
Being in this present moment with this knowledge and this inner wisdom,
May the long time sun shine upon you,
All love surround you,
And the pure light within you,
Guide your way on.
