Hello and welcome to my meditation today.
Today the meditation I will be doing will be focusing on gratitude and abundance.
So find yourself coming into a comfortable position whether it be sitting up or lying down.
Finding a place where you will not be disturbed for the next several minutes.
And once you get into this comfortable space go ahead and close through the eyes bringing awareness to the breath.
Checking in with the breath into this present moment with the mind.
And let's start by relaxing the physical body from the top of the head all the way down to the tips of the toes.
Just letting everything relax and become heavy.
Letting all the tension,
All the pain,
Any negativity or stress melt away here breath by breath so we can prepare ourselves and our minds for meditation.
And once we feel completely relaxed bringing the awareness back to the inhale and the exhale of the breath.
On the inhale feeling the ribcage rise and on the exhale letting it fall.
Following this steady rhythm of the breath and letting it be your guide.
If the mind should tend to wander summon the thoughts back to the breath with the inhale and the exhale.
And let's bring the awareness into this present moment by just listening and observing to some of the noises coming from around you from where you are.
Just being a witness without thinking too much of these noises and what they are.
Just being an observer in a present moment with the sounds around you.
Now let's bring the awareness to the breath and the sound of the breath.
On the exhale as we breathe out through the nose.
Showing gratitude here for the breath for without the breath we would no longer exist.
So showing gratitude for each and every individual breath in which we're given.
To see another day and to be able to live and be and do the things that we enjoy to do.
Showing gratitude for the oxygen that nourishes each and every cell of the body in order for us to move and to be.
And then taking the awareness to the heart focusing on the heartbeat showing gratitude for the heart for without the heart we also would not exist.
So showing gratitude for the heart and the unconditional love in which we receive in which we give others from the space and the life in which we're given and our gifts to share with ourselves and with others and to live from the heart to serve the highest purpose for ourselves and for others.
And focusing on gratitude when we're in the highest place of our vibrational energy.
Let's imagine in our mind a scene.
We're going to imagine a beautiful prairie with a bunch of tall grasses gently blowing in the breeze and as we look around further into the space we just see all these beautiful colors coming into our imagination.
Noticing the wild flowers of all sorts of colors here and the beautiful creatures that scurry along working in perfect harmony here in this space.
Feeling as if we're connected and we belong here.
Looking up at the clear blue sky and the sun shining brightly warming our skin creating a sense of strength and warmth and comfort.
Where all the stress no longer matters when we come here it's nothing but peace and harmony.
When off in the distance as we look we see a herd of bison just gently grazing upon the grass in the field and as we look into this field we start to admire the beautiful harmony of which these great creatures work together.
Following the path toward the joy toward love.
But off out of the corner of our eye we see something different.
We see a beautiful white bison all by herself and we're curious about her so we want to get a closer look so we start to walk toward her and as we get closer and closer we just feel an even greater sense of love peace and joy so great that we never would imagine we could feel such a way and when we get close enough we can look at this majestic creature in her big beautiful brown eyes and as she looks back at us we feel as if she can see our soul that she knows everything about us even the things we've never told another soul and she's standing there looking at us with kind eyes without judgment and we feel as if we can share here anything at all anything we'd like to release anything we need to let go of we could tell her so she can take it away from us so we can open ourselves up to brand new joy brand new energy open to receive the abundance open to receive all the gifts in which we deserve and as we sit here with our friend we can also ask any questions we can ask for guidance we can ask for obstacles to be removed from our lives so we can find our path toward the greatest joy we can ask her for strength and courage to follow our path when we are afraid so whatever it is we need to fulfill our life at this moment in time sitting here for a few quiet moments and offering this conversation with this beautiful being to find the answers to solve our problems in order to find happiness and gratitude and love and as we start to finish always remember that we can always come back here and visit as much as we need to as long as the mind is still enough to hear this inner wisdom from our beautiful friend so as we finish she turns and walks back toward the other members of the herd and together they walk off into the distance into the horizon of the beautiful sunset and as we look up we see all the beautiful colors of the sky and as darkness sets upon us we see the light of the stars shining in the sky and the full moon giving us her light so we can find our way through the darkness so let's take the awareness back to the breath on the inhale and the exhale feeling the ribcage rise and fall bringing us back into the present moment just listening and observing to the noises coming from around you in this space and time for know that in this moment is all there ever is and ever was and never shall be and then gently moving the physical body the fingers and toes bringing the awareness back and slowly letting the thoughts drift back into the mind and whenever you're ready you can gently open the eyes bringing yourself back into this present moment and the spirit in me bows to and respects the spirit in you and all living beings and thank you for joining me namaste
