This meditation will first start by focusing on the breath in order to calm and relax the mind and the body. Once relaxed, we will focus on an inner journey, connecting to our inner wisdom in order to find direction and truth when we are in a place of uncertainty. Allowing ourselves to be guided only by our inner wisdom to become aligned with the highest purpose in our lives.

Hello,

And welcome to this guided meditation.

Today this meditation will focus on deep relaxation and connecting to your inner wisdom for guidance.

So finding yourself coming into a quiet,

Comfortable place in a comfortable position,

Either sitting or lying down.

And as you come into this place,

Let's go ahead and close through the eyes,

Bringing awareness to the breath,

Just checking in with how you feel at this very moment in time.

Allowing each breath to wash over you,

Allowing it to wash away any cares,

Any worries,

Any stress breath by breath here,

Allowing all these things to release.

So you can find yourself coming into an even deeper state of relaxation.

Now let's bring the awareness back to the breath.

On the inhale,

Feeling the rib cage rise,

And on the exhale,

Allowing the rib cage to fall.

Feeling this nice steady flow of the breath as we breathe in and as we breathe out.

Let's go ahead and bring ourselves into this present moment by just listening and observing to some of the noises coming from around in the space.

And just being a witness to these noises without trying to identify them or think about the them too much.

Just be present with these noises from around us in this space.

And then from here,

Let's go ahead and follow the breath on the inhale and the exhale.

And we're going to count the breath from one to ten.

We're going to start by counting the inhales.

So on the breath,

We'll take an inhale,

Counting one and then exhale.

On the inhale,

Counting two and then exhale.

And so on and so forth as we reach toward the number ten.

And if you should reach the number ten,

Starting back at the number one again.

And then from here,

Let's go ahead and change counting.

So starting with the number one again,

Counting toward the number ten.

Let's now count the exhale of the breath.

So we'll inhale and on the exhale one.

And then we'll inhale and on the exhale two and again and so on.

Starting toward the number ten.

And again,

If we reach the number ten,

Coming back to the number one.

And now from here,

Let's go ahead and pause the counting of the breath.

Let's bring full awareness to the breath,

Noticing the inhale as it flows in through the nose and the exhale as breath flows out of the nose.

Maybe seeing to yourself on the inhale,

I am inhaling.

And on the exhale,

I am exhaling.

Keeping the mind concentrated,

Focused.

Maybe noticing here the temperature of the breath as it flows in and as it flows out,

The quality of the breath,

The fullness of the breath.

Just exploring all the parts that the breath has to offer.

Maybe even taking notice of the pauses in between the breaths,

The pause between the inhale and the exhale.

Or the pause between the exhale and the next inhale.

Bringing that full awareness to every part of the breath.

Let's bring the awareness of the breath now.

Bringing the awareness to the tip of the nose.

Just noticing the breath here as we bring that awareness to the tip of the nose as the breath flows in and as the breath flows out.

Just keeping that focus and concentration toward the tip of the nose.

Feeling the air as it fills up into the lungs.

And feeling the air flow out as it leaves the body.

And then from here,

Let's just give up that awareness and just come to this deeper state of consciousness and relaxation.

Just finding this sense of peace and harmony in this very moment as we're nice and calm and the mind is still.

And we're going to imagine now that we're sailing on a boat out in the middle of the water.

So just imagining this scene in your mind's eye.

And as we're on this boat,

We find ourselves sailing into the darkness.

The water is nice and still and calm.

It's a smooth ride.

But yet all around us is darkness.

And as we flow into this darkness,

We find uncertainty.

Maybe we're afraid.

Maybe we're worried because we're not sure where this boat is going to lead us.

But as we set sail,

We connect to that flow of our breath.

Allowing this flow of the breath to keep us calm and relaxed,

To keep the mind focused.

And as we come into this darkness,

We connect to our inner self,

Our inner wisdom,

Our inner guidance and not allowing anything on the outside to change anything.

Being steady and focused from our guidance within where nothing else matters from the outside.

We don't have to worry what other people think,

What other people say,

Or what we feel like other people want us to do.

Connecting to our inner guidance and the stillness in this darkness will connect our vibrational energy to that which is best aligned for our soul.

And when we're in alignment with our inner wisdom,

We find more love,

Peace,

Joy,

And happiness in our lives.

So as we're still in this darkness,

Imagine as if you can surrender all those things in which no longer serve you,

Being still enough to seek that guidance,

To connect with this inner feeling and this inner knowing without knowing,

Being the seer without seeing,

And know that you will be divinely guided in the right direction.

Once you've connected to this inner wisdom,

Remember that we're back on this boat.

So as we look around in this scene,

We start to see the sun coming up along the horizon for it's the beginning of a whole new day.

As we start to see the sun rise,

We see all the beautiful colors of the sky.

We know that now we are in the right place,

That we're meant to be here.

And now that everything is calm,

We sail smoothly toward the horizon to live our lives to the fullest for our highest good with the highest purpose,

Keeping this vibrational energy so high that we no longer feel sadness,

Anger,

Jealousy,

Fear.

Anything but pure love can reside here for the rest of our days.

So from here now,

Let's go ahead and bring the awareness back to the breath,

Just noticing the quality of the breath,

Breathing in life.

Then from here,

Let's go ahead and slowly start to move the physical body,

Wiggling the fingers and toes,

Bringing the awareness back and slowly coming back to the thoughts.

And whenever you're ready,

You can gently open the eyes,

Completing the practice,

Hopefully feeling calm,

At peace and at harmony.

Om shanti shanti shanti om peace om peace.

May you think nothing but peaceful thoughts.

Om shanti shanti shanti om peace om peace.

May you speak nothing but peaceful words to yourself and to others.

And om shanti shanti shanti om peace om peace.

May you have nothing but peace in your hearts for the rest of your lives.
