Welcome to a shortened version of finding alignment and resetting your day.

Please bring awareness first into your breath and into your body breathing.

Letting yourself fill up.

And then please rest awareness at the base of your spine and just feel yourself breathing into the base of your spine and just remaining there for your next few breath cycles.

And then we'll take this breath at the base of the spine and we'll begin to breathe.

On inhale,

We're going to send that breath all the way up outside of the body and in front of it.

So seeing the breath pass your navel center,

Your heart center,

The throat center,

The face all the way up to a place about 12 inches above the crown of the head.

That's on inhale.

And then on exhale,

We're following that line,

That arc of energy all the way back down to the base of the spine.

Inhale following your breath from the base up past the navel center,

The heart,

The face above the crown of the head and follow that line back down.

Simply seeing the breath,

Sensing the breath and feeling the energy that rides with it.

Continue this cycle for another minute.

And now we'll follow a similar line of energy up the back of the body.

So starting at the base of the spine on the inhale,

Draw that breath out of the body,

Following it up the low back,

The mid,

The upper,

All the way up to a space 12 inches above the crown of your head.

On exhale,

Follow that line all the way back down to the base of your spine.

Knowing that the breath is moving more quickly,

Just seeing it pass by all these spaces,

Moving in this arc of energy.

Not trying to see every space it passes so specifically,

So vividly.

Just two more cycles.

And now we'll begin to make our way all the way around.

So please bring awareness back into the base of your spine.

And then on the inhale,

Follow your breath up the front of the body,

Following that same arc of energy,

All the way up to 12 inches above the crown.

And then on your exhale,

Follow that arc down the back of your body.

And then inhale,

Reverse all the way up the back of the body to 12 inches above the crown of your head,

And exhale down the front of the body.

So we'll continue this alternating pattern,

Kriya,

Of following the breath and the energy that rides on the breath,

All the way up to the crown and back down.

And then all the way up the back of the body to the crown and back down the front.

One more minute.

Kriya,

One more.

Kriya,

One more.

Now please rest awareness at that space 12 inches above the crown of your head.

The peak of this Kriya,

The apex,

Feel all of the energy that you watched,

That you sensed moving up and down your torso.

Feel it now creating this residual arc.

Feel the energy vibrating around you.

And then feel it glowing like a halo at the top of the crown of your head.

And then feel as if that light,

It can linger there,

But also some of it can begin to seep into the midbrain.

And feel the midbrain here lighting up.

This light that is always within you,

A part of you.

Within this light,

Within this alignment that you've created for yourself,

Begin to vision your day.

Now in this calm center,

This calm place,

See yourself going about your day,

What it is you'd like to get done,

And see a new kind of mood,

An attitude behind it.

Seeing this light,

The centeredness into everything you do.

Keep that vision of yourself.

As you bow your head slightly and turn the corners of your mouth up in the silent smile of thankfulness,

Of joy.

Namaste.

Namaste.

A lovely way to start the day, or to pause and reset.
