This course is designed to help you start each day with mindfulness and intention and will help you build a mindful morning ritual for yourself. Incorporating simple yet powerful mindfulness practices into your morning routine can set a positive tone for the rest of your day, enhancing your overall well-being and productivity. All you need to do is carve out 15 minutes each morning to dedicate to yourself. At the end of this course you will have: Learned various techniques to bring mindfulness to the start of your day. Established a mindful morning ritual. Enhanced your emotional balance and mental clarity. Cultivated a positive and intentional mindset for the day ahead. Developed habits that promote overall well-being and resilience.


Meet your Teacher

Rachel's journey with yoga and mindfulness started more than 20 years ago after a diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis. The wonderful benefits she experienced with the practices influenced her to become a yoga and mindfulness instructor. Rachel is dedicated to helping people with arthritis and other musculoskeletal conditions feel and move better in their bodies again. Using mindfulness techniques in her life along with yoga, Rachel knows firsthand the positive effects simple mindfulness practices can have on the body and mind. And with mindfulness being such a broad topic Rachel is passionate about teaching people in a simple but effective way, how to implement these techniques into their daily lives.

Lesson 1

Starting Your Day With Mindfulness

In this lesson, we will take a look at what mindfulness is and how it can help you start your day right. Then we will move into a simple breath awareness meditation, to allow you to start your day calmly and present.

Lesson 2

Cultivating Intentions For A Purposeful Day.

In this lesson we will be looking at what intentions are, and the benefits of setting intentions when you first wake up. Followed by a guided intention-setting meditation. And your intentions are set, we learn how to bring them into our day.

Lesson 3

A Mindful Wake Up for the Body

In this lesson, we gently move and stretch to gradually wake up aching muscles and joints after a night's sleep. And we start this lesson in still cozy in bed. At the end of the lesson, you will have learned a quick and easy movement routine to incorporate into your morning ritual.

Lesson 4

Morning Gratitude

In this lesson, we will focus on cultivating gratitude, so we can start the day with a positive mindset and a heart full of appreciation. We will also go through a guided gratitude meditation to connect with what we are thankful for so we carry it throughout our day.

Lesson 5

Creating Your Mindful Morning Ritual

In this lesson, we will reflect on the morning rituals we learned in the previous lessons. And we will use a guided visualisation meditation to help us create our perfect morning ritual. Have a piece of paper/notebook and pen as I will be giving you a morning ritual template to write down and use in the future.
