Making Your Life Sacred: Ritualizing Everyday Moments

This course explores how to turn everyday routines into meaningful rituals, fostering mindfulness, gratitude, and a deeper connection with your life. In each lesson will focus on a specific area of life that can be ritualized (hint: it can be any of them!). Together, we will work through a short practice that can be incorporated into your everyday life. After each practice, there will be an optional journal prompt to reflect upon our time together. Take the ones that make sense for you, and leave the ones that don't. The course is close to home for me. As I reflect on my life, I have often lived very much in the future - looking forward to big dreams, and lofty goals. In the last few years, I have experienced the joy of drinking my morning coffee from my favorite mug, writing love notes to friends, turning off my phone and reading that book I have been trying to read for the last two years. In ritualizing and romanticizing these moments, I have felt so fulfilled by this little life, and I hope to share that with you. Thank you for being here.


Meet your Teacher

Bianca Lorage is a teacher of yoga and a practitioner of massage and craniosacral therapy. She works in a remote location nestled in the Great Bear Rainforest, where she creates, designs, and executes wellness programming aimed at helping others find connection through nature and the practice of slowing down. She is deeply inspired by the power of nature, and savoring the little moments in life, surrounded by good company. Bianca resides on the unceded territory of the Tla-o-qui-aht First Nations (presently known as Tofino, B.C.)

Lesson 1

Ritualizing Everyday Moments: Morning Rituals

Morning Rituals offers a powerful way to start your day off in a purposeful way. We will look at a few different ways you can create rituals in your morning, and go through a short mindfulness meditation as we enjoy a cup of tea or coffee together. These rituals can be simple and easily incorporated into your day, or they may even be actions you are already doing in your daily life, however we may be able to look at them with a more romanticized lens.

Lesson 2

Ritualizing Everyday Moments: Mindful Eating

In this lesson, we will explore how to transform eating into a mindful experience. You will learn how to create a simple ritual around your meal, and together we will complete a mindfulness eating meditation. This lesson will give suggestions that are simple but effective to create a ritual around nourishing your body as an act of love and self-care.

Lesson 3

Ritualizing Everyday Moments: Reverence In Movement

Reverence in Movement celebrates the beauty and the privilege of the physical capabilities we have available to us. We will take a short walk together in this mindfulness practice, it can be around your home or outside. Movement is a way to connect with our body and the spaces around us, and when done with intention, movement can become a celebration of life itself.

Lesson 4

Ritualizing Everyday Moments: Evening Wind Down

Evening Wind down is a short lesson to help bring intention into the way you prepare yourself to sleep. We will look at this time and its importance to set ourselves up for a goodnight's sleep, and to release the day. Together we will move through a guided restorative pose, and take a moment to land before going to bed.

Lesson 5

Ritualizing Everyday Moments: Honouring Relationships

In our final lesson, we will look at what it could mean to honor relationships. We will complete a short mindfulness practice together, to honor someone in our lives. All you will need for this session is a comfortable place to sit or lie down. To conclude, we’ll discuss practical ways to integrate these practices into daily life in an accessible and meaningful way.
