If you’ve been feeling stuck in survival mode, feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or running on empty, this course is a gentle invitation to slow down, reconnect with your body, and come home to a sense of inner calm. Designed with empaths and sensitive souls in mind, the practices and insights shared here will help you soften out of "fight or flight" and return to a more grounded, peaceful state of being. Whether you’re feeling emotionally drained, energetically overstimulated, or simply craving a deeper exhale, this space is for you. No experience is needed. Just bring your breath, your body, and a willingness to care for yourself in a new, more nourishing way. You'll learn: -What is grounding. -How and why to incorporate grounding into your busy lifestyle. -How grounding affects the root chakra. -Challenges that we face with finding grounding as sensitive people. -How these challenges may be impacting your daily life, and what to do about it. Plus, you'll receive: - A few guided journal prompts, around grounding for personal reflection, - A few Sankalpa's (intentions) for bringing more grounding into your life, - A few short grounding practices (meditation and Qi Gong) that you can do anywhere, anytime you need some grounding and peace in your day.


Meet your Teacher

Ali Temple is a global yoga and meditation teacher, retreat leader, and mentor. Her calm, healing, and supportive energy is magnetic and she is deeply passionate about spreading peace to her students all over the world. Ali has thousands of hours of training in yoga, meditation, and energy healing and has been teaching yoga and meditation for over 10 years. As an empowered empath, Ali has spent the past few years unlearning certain behaviors and limiting beliefs that in the past have held her back from thriving authentically as a sensitive person. She is passionate about supporting her students with learning the skills that she has obtained throughout her own healing process, including finding grounding and self-care routines, so they can live their dreams and thrive as empaths too.

Lesson 1

Introduction And Grounding Meditation

In this opening session, Ali offers a gentle introduction to the course and sets the tone for the journey ahead. You’ll then be guided through a calming grounding meditation to help you arrive fully in the present moment—body, breath, and mind. To prepare, find a comfortable seat: either on the floor with a tall spine, or in a chair with your feet planted firmly on the ground. This short practice is here to help you settle in, soften your nervous system, and create space for deeper self-connection as we begin.

Lesson 2

What Is Grounding?

Ali explores the importance of grounding practices, especially for empaths and sensitive beings who often pour so much of their energy into supporting others. You’ll learn why grounding is essential for nervous system regulation, emotional clarity, and energetic protection, as well as how to weave it into your busy, everyday life. Ali also shares some of her favorite go-to techniques, simple yet powerful practices she’s returned to over the years to refill her own cup and reconnect to calm.

Personal Reflection

In this session, you’ll be invited into a gentle self-reflection practice to deepen your awareness around grounding, what it means to you, how it feels in your body, and where it may be missing from your daily life. Grab your journal or find a quiet space for inward reflection, and allow yourself to approach these self-inquiry prompts with honesty and compassion. Before you begin, take a few moments to settle into a calm, receptive state, this is where the insights often emerge. Let this session be a loving check-in with yourself, an opportunity to reconnect with what supports your inner stability.

Lesson 4

Simple Strategies And Techniques For Grounding

In this session, Ali shares a collection of her favorite grounding practices—simple tools you can weave into your day wherever and whenever you need support. These practices are designed to be flexible, accessible, and deeply nourishing for sensitive systems. In the second half of this lesson, you’ll be guided through a gentle Four Elements Qi Gong practice to help you reconnect with your body and breath. To prepare, stand with your feet at least hip-distance apart, and allow yourself to be present with the rhythm of the movement. This session offers both insight and embodiment—so you can feel more anchored, spacious, and supported throughout your day.

Sankalpas For Grounding

In this session, Ali introduces a few carefully chosen Sankalpas, sacred intentions you can carry into your meditation, Yoga Nidra, or daily life to support a deeper sense of grounding and inner stability. These intentions are designed to anchor you through moments of stress, transition, or emotional overwhelm, reminding you of your inner strength and calm. You may want to have your journal nearby to write down the phrases that resonate most. Let this be a moment of quiet clarity as you choose the words that will gently guide you forward.

Clearing Meditation For Grounding The Chakras

In this final session, Ali guides you through a gentle, energy-based Chakra Clearing Meditation to support the release of any stagnant or unhelpful energy stored in the body, beginning at the root and flowing through all seven main chakras. This practice is designed to help you return to a state of balance, clarity, and grounded ease. You may notice a feeling of lightness, spaciousness, or emotional release as energy realigns throughout your system. This is your time to integrate everything you’ve explored, and to honor how far you’ve come on your journey toward deeper self-connection and empowered boundaries.
