Daily Impulses To Support Your Path Of Deep Self-Realization

With Christopher Buschor

This course is designed to support and guide you on your path of deep self-realization. It consists of mostly independent daily impulses, which can speed up and deepen your process of spiritual enlightenment. By spiritual enlightenment, I mean real spirituality, free of any concept or religious belief systems- Becoming, who you really are (and always were). The impulses will help you see the tricky patterns of your ego and allow your true self to shine through. No matter how advanced you are in self-realization, there will be impulses for further support and new insights.

Meet your Teacher

Since his youth, Christopher has been fascinated by the question of meaning and who he really is at the core. Who is behind all the everyday entanglements and the numerous conditioning of the personality? He studied various great teachings and over the years, during which he withdrew for this purpose, he gained ever deeper insights. As a coach and mentor, he now helps people who are also searching for answers to open up the path to themselves and to support them in doing so.

Lesson 1

The Tree Is (Not) A Tree - Changes On The Way To Yourself

“At the beginning of the path, the tree is a tree. During the path, the tree is everything else but a tree. And at the end of the path, the tree is a tree again.” This Zen story aptly describes the changes that occur on the path to deeper self-knowledge. In this daily impulse, Christopher talks about the meaning of this story and also gives to you a very easy and yet powerful exercise for your all day life.

Lesson 2

Why Self-discovery Never Works

Many coaches offer you support in “self-discovery”. In doing so, they lead you away from your true self and straight into new entanglements. This impulse is about what the problem is with that and how you can really “find” yourself.

Lesson 3

Recognizing Bliss In Silence

Deep happiness and bliss only unfold during a certain silence that leaves enough space for you. Less is more in this respect if you desire true happiness and are not exclusively in search of superficial fun. Then you are complete with yourself, completely yourself, happy and free.

Lesson 4

Realizing The Beauty Within You

Buddha is said to have once given a silent sermon in which he held up and looked at a flower. During the sermon, a monk began to smile. He had understood. What does this have to do with you and self-realization?

Lesson 5

"Cogito Ergo Sum" – Descartes Mistake

Descartes, in his search for the only thing that could be established with absolute certainty, discovered the greatest mistake with his famous statement “Cogito Ergo Sum” (I think, therefore I am). This impulse is about seeing through this error.

Lesson 6

Why You Should Not Want To Become A Better Person

Wanting to become a better person sounds like something worth striving for. There are certainly worse plans, but this resolution is doomed to failure. In this impulse, Christopher talks about why this desire is the problem and how you can become a better person.

Lesson 7

The Voice Inside Your Head

What is that voice inside your head? Is it you? How would it be possible, that you can observe this voice and listen to it, if you were it yourself? In this impulse, Christopher would like to help you to question and release your identification with this voice.

Lesson 8

Be Aware Of Your Spiritual Ego

The spiritual ego arises from an excessive sense of self-worth that is fed by spiritual experiences and practices. People on the spiritual path often consider themselves superior to others who are less spiritually advanced. The great danger lies in the fact that when you try to let go of your ego and recognize yourself, the spiritual ego creeps in “through the back door”. In doing so, you distance yourself from yourself and lose yourself in a new identification - without realizing it.

Lesson 9

I Am

I am. Actually, that says it all. Nevertheless, it is useful to add something, to introduce yourself. How can an “I am.” lead you to more self-realization and at the same time remain suitable for everyday life? Christopher talks about this in this impulse.

Lesson 10

What Bothers You About Others Is Part Of Yourself

You are annoyed by this or that characteristic in other people. When people act in such and such a way, you don't like it... All those behavioral patterns that you don't like are inside you. This impulse is about why this is the case and how you can achieve greater self-awareness as a result.

Lesson 11

The Fear Of Transience

No matter what material success you achieve, you as your ego, will never be permanently satisfied. The pop song “I can't get no satisfaction” expresses it beautifully. The ego knows that everything is fleeting and reacts with (unconscious) fear. This fear is not yours, but that of the ego. It feels threatened by change and the loss of identification with objects. How can you deal with that fear? Can you actually “deal” with it, or is it more about acceptance and letting go of attachments?

Lesson 12

The Ego's Need For Superiority By Knowing More

Do you know that great feeling when you have (exciting) news to announce? This feeling usually doesn't come from you. You know more than someone else. You feel (unconsciously) superior because you know more and can show it. Every time you feel superior, it's not you. Your true self never feels superior to anyone and also never feels inferior.

Lesson 13

What's Behind A Positive Or Negative Self-image Of Yourself

It is not difficult to guess that ego is behind an exaggerated positive self-image. But the ego is also hidden behind a low self-image. Very few people recognize this fact. In this impulse, Christopher explains what it's all about.

Lesson 14

The Recognition Of Illusions Is Also Their End

You have now gotten to know many facets of the ego in the past impulses. It is what keeps you from self-realization. When your ego dies or is inactive, then you are completely yourself. Self-knowledge is not something active. It is the recognition of yourself by letting go of the illusions of the ego. Recognizing the illusions is also the end of them. In my course “Who Am I? The Path To Your True Self” I guide you step by step through the illusions and support you in letting go of them.
