Meet your Teacher

Tami has spent many years studying, practicing, and teaching various anxiety and stress relief methods and bringing more relaxation to the public. Tami's journey began in 2014 at University studying Psychology and the neurophysiology of depression in the brain. Further down the line Tami began to explore how powerful meditation and breathwork are at helping down-regulate the nervous system when in a heightened state of stress, as well as using breathwork to help release trauma in the body. To this day she continues to study and explore more into this field, to create more tracks to help others feel calmer and lighter in mind.

Lesson 1

Witness & Control Your Breath (Belly & Chest Breathing)

Using breath awareness we will strengthen your brain to muscle pathways (neuroplasticity). This will give you more control over how you breathe and enable you to move the muscles in the torso more freely. This will allow you to not only take deeper/ fuller breaths but also result in more movement being available in your body (less tension in your shoulders, neck, and back - heavenly).

Lesson 2

How Breath Speed & Length Changes How You Feel

Using your awareness of how you are breathing, you will begin to adjust the speed and length of your breath. I will first describe what is happening within the body and why we need to be able to access the stress response (yes, it is a genuinely useful state, in the right situations). Finally, I will explain a way of how you can use your breath to move away from the stress response and into a calmer state of mind (and body).

I loved this course. I would recommend it to those who feel a bit overwhelmed along the day, or struggle to sleep 8 hours in a row or just to anyone really who wants to understand better how to handle reactions and emotion states more consciously.
