So the brain is just neural pathways and these pathways become stronger the more you do,

Say or think something and the stronger these neural pathways become the more you believe something.

So how often do you tell yourself you're not good enough,

That you're not lovable,

That you're not loved,

That you're not strong enough or that you can't do something?

Now imagine if you flip the script,

Start building different pathways,

Start telling yourself you are good enough,

You are loved,

You are strong enough and that you can do it.

And slowly in time these pathways will become stronger in your brain,

That is neuroplasticity,

How the brain is constantly changing to whatever stimuli you give it.

So it's not too late,

Start telling yourself you are good enough.

A great reminder to switch the program and to re-wire the synapses firing. Positive & truthful programming to replace the negative & false programming. Give Thanks 🙏🏽 Asé

Just what I needed. It smacks against the negativity against me in my home where I had promised to take care of my Mom, and my brother is in the way. My Mom loves him more than me but I promised her that I would take care of her, and I will keep my word. My Mom and brother were long time alcoholics stopping abruptly when he was admitted in a behavioral mental hospital after he hit me several times in the head in a drunken rage and I called the police to take him away. They told my Mom and I to get rid of all the alcohol in the house. The next day, I confirmed that’s what she wanted to do and she agreed. She quit cold turkey before I was able to donate the wine and liquor to a charity who picked it all up and gave us a detailed receipt. Without their alcohol to sooth their nerves, these two people often say really mean half-truths which I’ll believe because I know a part is true therefore I should accept the rest. But in fact, none of its real true. My brother says I do nothing around the house. That’s not true. He discounts what I do; that doesn’t mean it’s not valuable. He benefits from everything I do. I do not from all of his work. And that’s true. I loved what you said here. I’m keeping this one bookmarked. Thank you so much. Blessings to you and all on this journey. Warmly, Anne
