Lesson 1
It's Time Reflect
Welcome! I hope you enjoy the course as much as I did. Remember, this course lasts for 5 days, but you can reuse it repeatedly as you develop your self-care routine, or if you just need self-care reminders. Enjoy!
Have you ever felt like you had so much to say but no idea how to express it? Or perhaps you’ve felt overwhelmed by your emotions and found that you have no outlet. I know that if you’re listening to this, you’ve experienced moments when you didn’t know how to help release your anger and frustration or how to sort through the many thoughts swirling in your mind. Maybe you haven’t carved out the self-care time you need and deserve, but you don’t know where to start. This was my experience as well, so remember that you’re not alone. Today, I’ll introduce or reintroduce some of the tools I used on my journey of self-love, self-discovery, and self-empowerment.
Today, you’ll need a journal or notebook, and optionally, different colored pens. You’ll also need to identify a sacred space to complete today’s assignment. We are starting with one of the most powerful self-care practices; if you aren’t already doing this, you’ll get to begin today. That powerful practice is called journaling.

Lesson 2
It's Time To Speak It
Today, we’re focusing on affirmations- positive words or statements you speak into existence to reprogram your mind, shift your energy, and start believing in your worth.
Many of us mothers struggle with self-esteem and confidence. For years, I battled with feeling comfortable in my new body after each child. You may hear more about this in one of my Insight Timer talks. One day, after taking a shower, I looked at myself in the mirror and said, “I’m going to love you again.” At that moment, I wasn’t sure what loving myself meant, but I knew I wanted to feel differently. I wanted to look in the mirror and love what I saw without first pointing out my flaws. By looking in the mirror and saying affirmations aloud, we begin to rewrite our inner dialogue. You might feel awkward initially and may not even believe it, but trust me, this is a transformative practice that can change your life for the better.
Today, you'll also receive your bonus tip, journal prompt, and over ten affirmations to choose from that will help you get started.

Lesson 3
Remember Who You Are
Today is all about one of my favorite ways to relax and reconnect: taking an herbal bath with herbs and essential oils, followed by applying body oil. You’ll need your favorite herbs, essential oils, and body oil. If you don’t have these items, don’t worry; you can still create an amazing bath experience.
If you didn’t know, sis, you are royal, so it’s time you felt like it.
To me, taking a bath isn’t about hygiene; it’s a sacred ritual that can help cleanse not only your body but also your mind and spirit.
As a mom, I never thought I would have the time to take baths. At times, I could barely take a shower uninterrupted. Once I had enough of how my life was going, I developed a routine that included taking a bath at least once or twice a week as a necessity, not an option. That quiet, uninterrupted time allowed me to feel recharged, become more patient with my children, and gave me the time I needed to relax and just breathe.
How to make your herbal bath:
1) Boil water
2) Turn off water and add your favorite herbs to the water (lavender, chamomile, calendula, rosemary, etc.)
3) Cover and let sit for 10-15 minutes
4) Run the bath water
5) Strain herbs
6) Add your favorite essential oils (lavender, orange, peppermint- 1 drop, etc.); you pick! 7) Mix and add to the bath water

Lesson 4
It's Time To Go Within
Today, we' re going to focus on managing stress through creativity and meditation. Whether you enjoy painting, drawing, crafting, or expressing yourself through your hands, engaging in creative activities can help you release stress and reconnect with your inner child. As moms, we face a lot of stress, so today we will destress through meditation and a project to explore how you cope with stress in both negative and positive ways. You will need magazines, pictures, poster board, or cardstock. If you don' t have those, use your journal. You' ll also need scissors, glue, and writing materials. Managing stress as a mom can be challenging, but meditation and tapping into your creative side are two powerful ways to find calm amidst any storm. These practices aren' t the only options available, but they help reduce stress while creating meaningful moments of connection with yourself, and even with your children if they join in.
As moms, we don' t always allow ourselves to play or be creative just for fun. For me, I was only creative when engaging in activities with my children. In a group I participated in years ago, we were tasked with creating something on a poster board. I felt lost at first and wasn' t sure how to begin. It seemed a bit strange to shop for an assignment that didn' t involve my children. Surprisingly, I became excited as I filled the cart with creative items to add to my board. By the time I completed that assignment, I not only received great feedback, but I also felt alive, less stressed, and truly happy. I realized that my creativity hadn' t abandoned me; perhaps I had put it aside. Trust me, pursuing something creative and enjoyable for yourself feels completely different. I loved it so much and had such a great time that I will continue to recommend creative activities to every mom I coach.
Here are some negative ways people manage stress:- Overeating- Regretful Words/Yelling- Worry- Isolation
Here are some positive ways to cope with stress:- Dancing- Being Creative- Journaling- Releasing Through Tears (crying)

Lesson 5
It's Time To Move
Today, we’re focusing on one of the most powerful tools for self-care: moving the body. Sometimes, physical movement is the best way to release what we hold inside. This can be as simple as stretching, dancing, walking in nature, or practicing yoga. We’re honing in on dancing today. As moms, we carry a lot of stress in our bodies, often without realizing it, whether it's from giving birth or simply not prioritizing self-care. We are constantly on the go, and many rarely take the time to move our bodies in ways that feel good and promote healing.
Movement is one of the simplest ways to release tension, clear your mind, and reconnect with your body. It helps eliminate stagnant energy that can eventually cause dis-ease.
Believe it or not, movement like dancing boosts energy levels, increase circulation, and release built-up tension. Dancing also releases endorphins, the body’s natural mood lifters.
So, if you’re having a stressful day, take a few minutes to dance.
