Welcome to this meditation called trusting the unknown.
Now,
Before we begin,
I just want to take a couple of minutes to just briefly explain the purpose of this meditation and how I would recommend using it.
So as you listen now,
Feel free to keep your eyes open or closed.
Whatever feels most comfortable for you right now,
You can begin to do that.
There's really no right or wrong way.
Now,
This meditation called trusting the unknown is essentially designed to help you access the infinite wisdom of divine intelligence.
You'll often hear me say a soul that trusts in the unknown pulls miracles from thin air.
And the reason I say that is because the unknown,
This vast invisible field is over 99.
9% of reality.
The truth is our eyes and our senses are only perceiving about less than 0.
01% of what's actually here.
So I often ask myself,
What would I rather trust?
The tiny fraction of reality that I can see or that vast intelligence,
That invisible field that I can't,
That represents almost 100% of the truth of reality.
So in my own life,
Whenever I trust more deeply in the unknown,
In silence,
In presence,
In stillness,
I often receive the clarity I need,
The insight that I need,
Or the direction.
I often enjoy just being present in the unknown.
And I often also allow spontaneity,
Downloads,
And unexpected thoughts to sometimes come my way.
And sometimes nothing dramatic happens at all.
And that's perfectly okay.
Because I want you to see this meditation also as an invitation to disengage.
We live in a very noisy world where there's a lot of pressure,
A lot of notifications,
And our left brain is always constantly doing,
Thinking,
Analyzing.
But this meditation is your invitation to simply be,
To enjoy this space between your thoughts,
Because that space is the quiet intelligence that's always there and always ready to help and guide you.
So in this meditation,
Through my guidance,
I'm going to gently slow you down out of that busy analytical thinking mind,
Out of beta brainwaves,
And into the present moment.
And once we're there,
I'll guide you into sensing the unknown and trusting it.
And my advice is to simply allow whatever comes up to come up.
And when you finish the meditation,
My advice is to journal straight away.
At a certain point,
I'm actually going to leave you there in the unknown for around 10 minutes,
And you'll be able to just sit there and enjoy the complimentary music.
And that's an opportunity to not think,
No effort.
You're not trying to fix anything,
Just pure presence.
So,
Okay,
Before we begin,
I recommend setting a simple intention for this meditation.
Your intention might be to be open to clarity,
Open to direction,
So you know how to move forward in your life.
Or you might be open to insight around something specific that's challenging you at the moment.
Or you might simply be open to resting deeply in the unknown and enjoying the present moment.
There's no need to force the intention if nothing is coming up for you.
But if there is something there,
Just gently say to yourself now,
As you visualize that intention,
I'm open,
I'm ready.
And then simply let it go.
And now,
Let's begin.
So now making sure that you're in a comfortable position,
And if you haven't yet closed your eyes,
You can do that now.
I want you to just first allow yourself to soften into trust,
Allowing yourself to disengage from the world around you.
And just bringing all your attention now into your body.
Where we place our attention is where we place our energy.
So just notice where your body feels most supported right now.
Feeling the surface beneath you,
Just holding you without effort.
And now just take a nice slow breath in through your nose.
And just hold it.
And a long slow breath out through your mouth.
And again now,
In through your nose.
And hold.
And out through your mouth.
Keeping your eyes closed and just returning back to your normal breath.
And now just allowing your shoulders to drop down into this present moment.
And following my guidance,
Bring your attention and your awareness to the very top of your head.
And just allow the muscles there to soften now.
And just guide that softness across your forehead,
Your eyes,
And your jaw.
And just allow them all to soften.
Relaxing even more.
And now let your awareness drift down to your neck,
Really feeling your neck beginning to relax.
And now onto your shoulders,
Just be there now on your shoulders.
And guide that softness down both of your arms,
All the way to your fingertips.
Be there in your hands,
Feel your hands soften.
And bring the softness now all the way back across your arms.
And now feel that softness at the top of your chest.
And just notice the natural rhythm of your breath.
And the beat of your heart.
Really feeling the softness and the relaxation here.
And also guide that softness down to your chest.
Guide the softness down from the top of your back,
Slowly,
Slowly down your back.
And now around to your stomach area,
Encompassing you fully there.
Feel yourself soften and soften and soften.
Relaxing even more into complete stillness.
And now down again to your hips.
Allow that softness to now go and make its way across your legs.
Feeling your legs beginning to relax.
And all the way down into your feet.
And sense that softness now in your toes.
And your ankles.
And now feel your whole body relaxed,
Grounded,
And safe.
And following my guidance,
I want you to really trust your own inner awareness.
Whatever comes up for you is exactly right for you.
Imagine yourself now standing at the top of 10 steps.
Just sense that you're there now.
And below those steps,
You don't yet need to decide what's waiting for you.
And as we begin the descent together,
Trust whatever appears is exactly right for you.
So in a moment,
I'm going to count you down from 10 to 1.
And with each step,
You'll gently drift deeper into trust.
So stand at the top of the steps now,
Looking down.
10,
Stepping down now,
Slowly.
9,
Feeling even more present now.
8,
Your mind is slowing and your body is following.
7,
Trusting the descent.
6,
Almost halfway now.
5,
Deepening trust in the present moment.
4,
Feeling even more present.
3,
Almost there,
Open and ready.
2,
Fully present.
1,
You've arrived at the bottom.
Just notice where you've arrived.
It might be familiar.
It might feel new.
Just sense that this place is right for you,
Safe and supportive.
And allow yourself to find somewhere to settle.
Whatever feels right for you.
Maybe it's sitting,
Resting,
Standing or simply being.
Go there now.
And as you're there,
Bring your awareness to your chest.
And notice a gentle light radiating from your heart.
And with each inhale through your nose,
Feel that light subtly beginning to expand.
And with each exhale,
Feel it soften outwards.
Just be there now,
Really feeling connected with this light.
This beautiful light is your connection to the unknown,
Source consciousness,
The universe.
This is the part of reality your mind can't see,
But your body now begins to remember.
This light is always here,
Always supporting you,
And always guiding you.
And now,
I'm going to leave you here with this light,
You're supported and safe.
And I'm going to leave you for 10 minutes.
You don't need to find clarity.
You don't need to look for answers.
Just simply be.
Here,
In this space,
In the unknown.
And just allow yourself to be.
And if your mind starts to wander,
Just bring yourself back to your scene and back to the light.
And now,
As we begin to wrap up this meditation,
Just follow my guidance.
And as we start to disconnect here from the light that you've been resting in,
Just know that it doesn't disappear.
It doesn't switch off.
It simply becomes quieter.
More subtle,
Folding gently back into the center of your chest.
Still there,
Still part of you,
And always accessible.
Imagine yourself now standing once again at the base of those 10 steps.
With each breath,
You gently walk back up.
One step,
Two,
Bringing the calm with you,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six,
Seven,
Eight,
Nine.
And at the top now,
Stepping back fully into your physical body.
Really feeling your breath,
Your body,
Becoming aware of the physical room around you.
And when you're ready,
Bringing full awareness back to your body and slowly opening your eyes.
And before you move on,
I invite you to take a few minutes to just journal and reflect on what came up for you then.
Just notice,
How did it feel?
What felt clear?
What felt different?
Were there any insights?
Trust whatever came up.
You've just practiced that trust in the unknown.
Because remember,
A soul that trusts in the unknown pulls miracles from thin air.
