
Opening Your Heart

Inviting you to get comfortable.
You can close your eyes or lower your gaze and just begin to settle into whatever it is that you're sitting or lying on.
And just beginning to take some deep breaths into your body.
Letting go on the exhale.
Letting go of anything that's happened in your day so far.
Asking any thoughts,
Anything going on in your head,
Just to go to one side for now,
Knowing that you can come back to it later.
Allowing your breath to take you inwards.
Breathing into your legs,
Your feet,
Your arms,
Your hands.
And breathing into your back.
Allowing it to soften and be supported.
And softening your jaw.
Softening your brow.
And just letting go into the wisdom of your body.
Allowing your breath to take you deeper.
And now from up above,
Inviting a column of warm,
Golden,
Soothing light to enter the crown of your head.
And just beginning to feel this warm golden light softening the muscles in your face and your head.
Feeling it moving down,
Softening your throat,
Your collarbone,
Your shoulders and your chest.
Feeling this warm light enter your back,
Moving downwards,
Softening and supporting you.
Letting yourself be held by it.
Breathing into it.
And bringing the light down into your hips and your pelvic area.
Feel it softening this part of your body.
Warm light going down your legs.
Relaxing them.
Letting them release.
And then feel it entering your feet and your toes.
Softening.
Soothing.
Taking you deeper within.
And fully arriving into the wisdom of your body.
And now,
Bringing your attention to your heart space.
And just beginning to notice your heart,
The area around it.
Noticing how it feels today.
Maybe you'd like to place one or both of your hands there.
Just do whatever feels good to you as you bring it closer into your awareness.
Breathing into your heart.
Feeling it.
Just being present with whatever is coming up in this area for you today.
And as you're present with your heart,
What do you notice?
How is it feeling?
Do you notice any sensations?
Any colours?
Anything at all?
And just breathing into this.
Acknowledging it and letting it be there as we begin to journey deeper.
And so inviting you to imagine that you're going inside your body.
Or simply bringing your awareness even deeper inside.
Going in right next to your heart.
And just allowing yourself to get as close as feels good so that you can begin to get to know your heart better and begin to explore with an energy of curiosity.
And so,
Entering your body and arriving in your heart space.
And just letting it come into your awareness.
And as you do,
How does your heart feel from this perspective?
Do you notice anything different?
And what does it feel like to be this close to it?
Just observing without judgement.
And as you are here with your heart,
Just ask it,
Is there anything you need today?
Just allow yourself to receive its wisdom.
And if nothing comes,
That's also fine.
And now,
If your heart shared that there's anything it needs,
Inviting you to bring that in now.
Maybe it's some love.
Maybe it's some holding,
Support,
Nourishment.
Maybe it just needs some light.
Whatever it is,
Just inviting you to bring that into the space.
And if nothing came,
You might just like to hold it in love.
And so,
Just taking a moment to do that now.
And so,
Now that you're connecting more closely with your heart,
We're just going to ask it some more questions.
Just being open,
Again,
To whatever arises.
And if nothing does,
That's always fine.
And so,
Just asking it,
Is there anything that you're still carrying that's causing pain,
Grief,
Sadness,
Or anything else that it's now time to let go of?
And where are you stopping yourself from receiving love fully into your heart?
And is there anything your heart is afraid of?
And what would it mean to live a life where your heart is wide open?
What would you do differently?
How would you show up?
And is there anything you'd let go of?
And so,
Now that you have an idea of how you might be if your heart was fully open,
Connected,
Vulnerable,
In a space that is in alignment with your truth,
Just begin to notice if any fears arise,
Or any doubts,
Insecurities,
Worries,
Anything at all.
Just beginning to notice the energy of these,
And feeling them come together.
And now,
We're just going to put all of these energies,
These fears,
These doubts,
These insecurities,
Maybe there's pain,
Maybe there's something else,
Just feeling it all go into a crystal ball to one side.
And just keep drawing all of it in there,
Feeling it expand as it fills up,
All of the fears,
The doubts,
The worries,
Going into that ball to be transmuted and released as you no longer need it.
And so,
Just taking a moment to really fill it up,
To really let go of all of these things,
These parts.
And so now,
Feeling the ball filled with all the things you no longer need,
We're going to invite in a rose gold light.
And this is a rose gold light of love,
Strength,
Truth.
And so just feeling this rose gold light enter,
And begin to shine on that ball,
Beginning to surround it,
Beginning to dissolve it,
Transmute all that it contains,
Releasing it,
Changing it,
Letting it go as it no longer serves you,
Trusting the intelligence of it,
The wisdom of it,
And noticing how it feels as it all disappears,
Dissolves,
Transmutes into the light.
And so now,
Knowing that anything else can still be transmuted and dissolved,
Just going to draw your attention back to your heart,
And just beginning to notice how is it feeling now,
And what's its energy like,
And how open is it to receiving now.
And so just connecting with this,
And from up above,
Inviting you now to bring in a column of divine love,
Feeling this energy coming down into the crown of your head,
Past your third eye,
Down your throat,
And into your heart.
And just feeling this energy begin to fill up,
And breathing it in,
Receiving it.
And at the same time,
From below,
Inviting you to feel a column of Mother Earth's unconditional loving energy coming up into the soles of your feet,
Up your legs,
Into your root,
Your sacral,
Your solar plexus,
And your heart,
Where it merges together with the divine love and begins to fill you up from beneath.
And so just breathing this in,
Deeply,
Deeply receiving from above and below,
Filling up your heart with this loving,
Supportive energy,
And just spending a moment doing this,
Receiving fully.
And as your heart fills up,
Feel these loving energies dissolving any last remnants of anything that's still there that you don't need,
And breathing it in,
Feeling the love.
And as you fill up,
Begin to feel it overflowing from your heart,
Expanding into your chest space,
The whole of your upper body,
Your arms,
Your legs,
Your head,
Into your energy field,
And just keep breathing it out as you fill up so much,
There's so much more to give,
And allowing it to expand as much as you like,
As far out as feels good to you today,
And breathing that loving energy out,
Maybe directing it to someone you'd like to send some love to,
Maybe just the space around you,
Maybe the world,
The cosmos,
The galaxies,
And just taking some time to do that now.
And now that you have filled up,
Received,
And given,
And just beginning to draw that energy back,
And back into your heart space,
And just holding it here for a moment more,
Reminding you of your truth,
And then just inviting you to ground this energy down through your body,
Through your chakras,
Just down into your earth star,
Reminding you to be present,
To be here on earth at this time,
With this knowing,
And so just feeling that energy ground you,
Bring you back to earth,
And bring you back into the present moment.
And so just beginning to feel yourself back in your body,
And becoming aware of the room that you're in,
And your skin against the surfaces,
And the temperature of the air on your skin,
And beginning to feel your body,
To move your body,
Maybe wriggling your fingers and your toes,
And starting to stretch a bit,
Move around,
And when you feel ready,
You can gently open your eyes,
And bring yourself back into this space.
And just taking a moment to journal on anything that came up that you might like to remember moving forward.
